THIS IS THE LETTER I WROTE TO THE STATE INSURANCE COMMISIONER: The Honorable Mike Chaney Commissioner of Insurance State of Mississippi P.O. Box 79 Jackson, MS 39205-0079 Greetings, Reference your 18499 Please help me recover the $500 deductible from my insurance carrier, USAA (780088).
This claim is for damage from a tree which fell from the property of Jeanette Lloyd, 905 North 7th Avenue, Columbus, MS 39701, on 28-MAY-2017. The tree fell due to rot on a no-wind morning. USAA, took care of most of my 28-MAY-2017 damage except for a $500 deduction. I have made multiple inquiries to USAA and the right USAA finger points to the left USAA finger and it points back to the right finger. USAA seems to have multiple management issues. Early in the process, paperwork to USAA’s contractor, EXL – Turnbull Team One, to contact State Farm was lost and later discovered in an USAA employee’s in-box who was on extended sick leave, I was told. USAA was monstrously late in getting info to its creature EXL due to gross incompetence at USAA, I feel.
I have had insurance with USAA since 1966, with few claims. At that time, they provided insurance to only US military commissioned officers and were quite well thought of. They seem to serve everyone now for financial services, badly. It appears to me that they have grown too big for their britches.
According to the internet, the CEO Stuart Parker makes $2,700,000 a year: http://www.expressnews.com/business/local/article/Storms-don-t-dampen-USAA-execs-pay-10973233.php https://usaa.pissedconsumer.com/usaa-sucks-because-of-ceo-stuart-parker-20160411827911.html I think he is grossly overpaid. Guess he wants $500 extra next year. A reply is requested. Please email me if you need additional information @ firstname.lastname@example.org Most respectfully yours, Robert A.
