USAA - Too many repeat phone calls

Purchased home 22/10/2019 via NFCU @ 2.375 int rate. USAA cannot beat this current rate. Do not need mail or phone inquiries, take me off your phone and mailing list. Ive never done business with usaa and have no reason to compare these 2 entities. respectfully Wayne Corscadden

User's recommendation: Nfcu has lower rates can only suggest calling before locking in with usaa 1st.

Don't use USAA for your mortgage

I refinanced through USAA. Big mistake the process took way too much time and I was charged extra. Correspondence was terrible, moved from one person to another. Now they say I don't have enough money in my escrow account but it is the same figures that are on my closing papers. I paid for the taxes upfront now they say it was not paid. They chose the title company now they blame the title company for all the problems. I would have used a title company close to me but USAA chose one in another state. Take your business else where before you are stuck with USAA. One unhappy customer.

Absolutely miserable. Which is unfortunate... Refinancing my home was painstakingly slow. The documentation was unclear, and scattered. Customer service was rude once I hit the stages of dealing with the underwriters. I was asked to send, and resend the same info numerous times. This sucks, because ive really enjoyed banking with them in the past. As well as auto insurance. Never again... ill pay a higher rate before I deal with this mess again

USAA - Not happy with my mortgage process

After looking around to refinance my home. I decided to with USAA they have given me good service on other products over the years and I expected the same service for a refinance. On two separate occasions I was contacted the day time was expiring wanting me to extend my closing. I agreed to the first time and Usaa paid the fee. The second time I was contacted on the expiration date and wanted me to pay for another extension. I wouldn't agree to pay the extra $150 and let it go. Funny the rate had gone up and they didn't want to do my loan any longer. Best advice is seek a mortgage elsewhere!
