USAA will never get my money, again!

Just like everyone else here, USAA refused to do business with me after my Chapter 7 discharge. I can certainly understand their position, if they were provide a reasonable amount of data to prove that consumers who filed bankruptcy were costing them more in the long-run than what they would bring in. However, I have seen no such data. My bankruptcy was eleven-years ago. My credit has been restored, and I am retiring after twenty-one-years of military service. The way in which I was treated, or spoken down to, while on the phone with them is absolutely uncalled for. They seem to have been trained to be extra snide and rude to those of us who have tried to go back to them in good faith. USAA, you may keep your holier-than-thou attitude, and I will do business with my local credit union, who keeps me happy, and who is conveniently located in my town. In other words, USAA, you may *** off!

USAA - Home Loan Process, A NIGHTMARE

I'm a Brain Injured Retired Veteran; the process thru which USAA Mortgage loan is set up is a Fricken Nightmare! Never would I recommend my Worst Enemy apply for a mortgage loan thru USAA. They're here to serve us? ***! I was told multiple different things regarding loan process by multiple people. I had to submit documentation over and over and over again, some of which I was told they never received. I was told from beginning, closing costs would be 1,600.00; then, 9,000.00; then, 6,000.00 dollars. This process was the Ultimate worst experience I've ever had with a lending institution; I've purchased 6 homes in my life. If you are considering a home loan with USAA, run to the nearest bank and apply for a loan there. Avoid USAA Mortgage loan at all costs. Paying a higher percentage rate would have been better than the *** I've been thru with these *** people. You have been Forewarned!

USAA - Terrible customer Service!

Just applied for Medicare Supplemental ins. and got accepted. USAA sent letter informing me of my acceptance and indicated they were going to draft two premium payments from my checking in Jan. 2018.??? Tried calling this am and was on hold for 25 minutes, finally was told they were very busy during this time period. I asked if I could leave my number and have someone call me back. He said no, call back at 6:pm when it is not busy. Called at 6:pm , sorry this is outside of business hours , please call back at another time. This person who told me to call back was just trying to get me off the phone. So I went to usaa website and tried to send them an email concerning my double payments and there is no way to send them an email just the tele# that I called previously. I have a Checking, savings and investment account with them and I am getting ready to close all accounts and go back to a real bank. This is not the first time I have had problems with them - website sucks, many system problems, hard to get a hold of anybody without getting passed around to several depts. before you can get any help. Terrible Company!!!!

No wonder our banking system is the worst in the world. They do not have trained employee's and only know two words "I'm sorry". They are idiots and act like they don't trust you with your own money. Don't believe one thing they tell you or their TV commercials are a joke. Constant bad customer service, increase in insurance rates and holds on payroll checks that must be deposited via mobile device. Their solution, cash the check at the institution who issued the checks, then drive 50 miles to deposit the cash in Colorado Springs.... How about this, I stopped all funds going to USAA and opened an account at a local credit union...... Many problems solved by leaving them..... Good riddance USAA

USAA ran over me on interstate and totaled my car. drove to shop of their choosing for estimate. 6 days later, declared total loss and provided lowball value. Visible options not included in estimate, $700 60,000 mile tires had 800 miles on them, allowed $150. Engine rebuilt 3000 miles ago at 83K and warranty extended to 125K, no value because we did not pay for it. Chose terrible comps to value, multi-owner, previously wrecked, smoker, pets vs our original owner, never wrecked, garaged, no pets/smoke in excellent condition. Day lowball was provided advised rental only for 3 more days. With no check in hand who can shop, negotiate, & buy a car in 3 days all to pressure acceptance of unrealistic offer. Back & forth with additional info, comps, invoices, etc then to tighten screws further threatened with daily storage fees at their chosen body shop. Broken glasses and stolen case full of CDs no problem. Three weeks later, nothing, no rental, no settlement and not a word regarding glasses &CD that were "no problem," Agent is rude, unprofessional and inept. We hold the title and they sent the car without settlement to a salvage yard 1.5 hours away. Should be charged with grand theft in my opinion. Will have to get an attorney and sue. They try to starve you into submission.
