Just like our government, USAA is giving the old deny-deny-deny trick. No resolution has been forthcoming from USAA nor have they released their call recordings to CFPB investigators, so we can prove who is lying. All they have done is to flip-flop on their statements....

I don't understand how not having internet access to your credit card info would affect your ability to pay your insurance. When you get your monthly insurance bill, you just write a check to pay it or use your bank's bill pay system, which is usually free.

USAA exercising their rights so they say

I've been a USAA member for over three years now I signed my husband up apply for a credit card it was approve a $20,000 credit card which I've had since October my husband recently upright apply and approved for a credit card up to $10,000 a day he got his card in the mail activated set up a pan went to the ATM to use it they shut his car down and stated that it was fraught we called and explained verified the amount was taken out the location that it was estimated transaction they shut his account down as well as my putting me in a bind with this situation . We call USAA to speak with someone in the credit card department to find out the situation to verify that we take responsibility of all the transaction they stated to us that they exercise their did the exercise their rights in they don't have to tell us anything just that our cars of been shut down and they don't have to tell us what no letter in the mail email or anything I ask to be transferred to someone else who could better is Sis me while I was gone transfer the line was disconnected call back it's had to repeat myself over again because nothing was noted to the fire they transfer me sound very upset and did not want to help transfer me and the line was disconnected again the third time I called back to repeat myself about the situation all over again Siri if the lot of the call was dropped is there a way that they can call us back so we won't have to repeat everything over with the same person again they stated they don't have the app they don't have the privilege to call back on any account so we finally got through to someone and they transferred us over to The fraud department and they stated to us that they had to exercise their right and they had did not have to tell us what our accounts are being shut down and that they will send us a bill of them out this do with the balance remaining on the credit card for anything coming out of our credit cards will be sent back and they will not be held responsible for my checking to savings account my money in the account has been hat as well but no one seems to be able to tell me why the situation occurred when we talk in verify all the information that we needed to the state that we were the one Transaction . This situation is unbelievable how they can just shut down my account as well as my husband and all they can tell me is they'll send me the remaining balance in the mail that is due to them and now I have to pay that all at once very unprofessional rude I have been hung up on twice today due to them supposedly transfer me to someone that can help me . I was never a saint able to seem to get this resolved stated that they will take my statement and if someone will call me back in three days as a call back on Thursday and speak to the credit card fraud department . Very upset and disappointed

Been with them for 4 years now. Had a platinum credit card with. 5000 limit. Well out of nowhere they lowered my limit from 4500 to 800. In doing so now my credit card looks maxed out on my credit. It lowered my fico by about 10 points. They say there doingit out of the well being of there memebers but hurting your members credit score is doing them a service? They could of called me and alerted me of what was going on. Heck i would of just paid the balance. Now i will payoff the card and close the account. Already closed the checking account. FOLKS GO TO NAVY FEDERAL!!!!!!! Service is worlds better .....

USAA credit card services is a huge scam! I had an account with them for several years, with a credit limit of $9500. All of a sudden, because I didn't use my card in some time, they informed me that my credit limit was decreased to $500!! What ***! You would think a reputable company would contact you in advance of making a decision as important as this...which can impact your credit score as well. This company SUCKS! I NEVER plan to do business with them again, and I strongly encourage any of you thinking of doing business with them to NOT DO SO!

USAA - Holding my money that I worked hard for

I have an Etsy shop that I work hard in. Etsy has been depositing my proceeds into my account faithfully every week for 5 years. I support my family on this money. I live in Florida and hurricane Matthew will be making landfall in 36 hours. I put a substantial amount on my credit card so we could leave town while the hurricane passes through Orlando. USAA decided to hold the funds on my credit card so it's not accessible. Now I can't rent a car and leave town during the hurricane. I was on the phone with them for an hour - they won't budge. They act like they don't know why this happens but they are lying. I will be doing business with another bank from now on - I'm over this bank and their silly games they play with customers money.

I am a proud Vet. I "assumed" USAA would be a good place to go for a credit card. Mistake. They started me with a rate of about 17%. I guess I was happy to get the card. After a year or so I discovered I was paying about 8% more to them than other cards I had received. Unfortunately I had a large balance with them at the time. I call and asked for a reduction in rate and they did go to about 15%? I realized if I used the other cards with a much lower rate and paid off USAA I would save a bunch of money. So I proceed to use the cash advance to pay off Usaa. I called USAA and asked for the pay off. They gave me the amount and I sent extra so there would be no problem. They returned any over pays to me. Then I get a bill statement 3 days after the pay off asking for interest. I called USAA and asked how they could charge interest on a paid off loan. They stated it was normal. I now work in the finance world. If I had a customer call me for a pay off and then charged more we would not be in business for long. I will pay usaa and never do any thing with them again. I even called about insurance at one time and there prices were thousands above others. Listen fellow Vets. Don't trust usaa, they act like they are here for us but they are not. Like every other "bank" they are there for the money and they can not be trusted. I feel they take advantage of us. STAY AWAY!

USAA - Bad Business

We have a credit card, 3 accounts and have 3 cars insured and have since the early 80's, all in good standing! We just got notice they have closed our CC! We haven't used it in a year or more, and when ask WHY, all we got was 'Sorry'. Told them we would move everything, and they said "OK, we hate to lose you, but there is nothing we can do." We don't use our CC, because we don't need to, THANK GOD. We feel like they closed it, because we don't use it, we also did file a claim on our insurance this year, because of a run in with a deer. It makes me wonder if there isn't shady dealings going on. If that's they way they feel about their 35+ years customers, to me that speaks volumes as to the charter of the rest of the company and its chair persons.

I am just as frustrated after 27 years we had an insurance fire check and I took it in to deposit and they would not deposit because they are making their own rules. I received the same response to take my business else where.

I now have to request another check from the ins company so I can deposit into chase.
