Saw all the ads about how USAA helps vets

Used them for my mortgage

Worst decision ever

Due to their incompetence closing pushed out 2 months

Now after 3rd payment, get a notice that my escrow was miscalculated and my mortgage payment will increase by $205 per month USAA SUCKS

I went through this nightmare just two years ago, they lie and my state insurance department said, file a complaint, and all I wanted was to get better, and have my bills and car paid for and they so tried for months to under cut me, an NO one calls you back just like on their CC Service too. I had a car accident; that was not my fault, and it was just a exhausting overwhelming drain.

Now I am fighting a dispute for a purchase that was installed incorrectly in my home and it was the wrong unit, the merchant lied and violated building codes.

USAA will lose some day big, when they look around and see that the billions they have start dwindling as more and more leave...I am telling every military friend and relative I know; we have two generals, Lt., Col,in my immediate family, and I went to a military college. I am going to post everywhere and warn all that I know. I will be closing out my accounts and both insurances accounts. I also had two identity theft attempts on my card account too.

Let all you know about this...they have terrible customer service, and if their is a way to start a class action I will do it. There are lawyer bullentins I can post on too.

USAA Customer Service is horrible

Filing a claim against USAA auto insurance requires lots of patience. Like weeks of patience. It took about 3 weeks for them to even look at my car. After that they fought about paying for a rental. After having the rental for some time I got a call when I was out of town and USAA said they had paid enough on the rental and there were going to stop paying for it. Of course I had to spend the next hour on the phone going in circles talking to several people to try and get them to pay for the rental. Just a bunch of jerks. I know my insurance company has way better service. Stay away!

USAA in Pensacola, Florida - WORST CLAIMS PROCESSING EVER!!!!!

Invovled in vehicle accident, was not at fault. The other driver was USAA insured. I have never had an adjuster, have been speaking to the at fault partys adjuster. When I filed the claim, they put a wrong phone number in for me and 3 weeks later they are still using the wrong phone number. They told me I had documents pending in my USAA account, they did not even know that their website was screwed up until I told them documents could not be accessed. I was overinsured for over a year, when they did an annual review of my policy they asked why I had full coverage when all my cars were paid for, wow! This company has some serious issues, the good news is my car was fixed by an amazing repair shop that I found, refused to use anything associated with USAA after this claim.

USAA left us stranded with no vehicle rude

Was sent on a Monday morning at 7:30 to have an estimate done on vehicle there insured hit us. We were told the car should not be driven. The body shop sent us to get a rental vehicle. The rental place would not give us one since they had not been contacted by insurance company. The USAA had sent in the assignment to the body shop as a liability claim and then said it was only an estimate they had not admitted liability yet. The USAA left us stranded at the rental car place, was very rude and ugly on the phone and then told us to rent our own vehicle. I am so glad I never choose this company for insurance, I just want the car fixed and be treated like another human being.

We have insurance through USAA. When we got a new car they claimed we were committing insurance fraud because even though we had called and updated our information the person who was supposed to update it negelected to put the car's information in their system.

Must be more to this story. USAA has always been polite on the phone to me, and I have called them many times. I know of no insurance company that will admit liability.

USAA in Amarillo, Texas - Declined claim even though policy holder at fault

USAA is horrible!!!! In December I was hit by one of their policy holders who was cited for speeding by police as per witness statement. USAA has decided that they were not at fault and that they will now pursue a lawsuit against me to recover damages to their policy holders vehicle. They have called me and yelled at me many many times. I even had an employee tell me to be quite because he was the one talking not me. USAA has horrible business practices and they don't care that the person on the other end of the line is human and should be treated like one. They want me to cooperate and I have told them numerous times to speak to my lawyer but they refuse.

So, you filed a claim under your home insurance . Why didn't you have the collection insured?

I would call that being penny wise and dollar ***. Funny thing about collections like that, they are really only valuable to there owners. How well was your home defended ? Who knew of your collection?

What kind of hood do you live in? All factors in protecting what's yours and sorry , but sounds like you did little to protect your precious coins.

Don't blame the insurance Co. They insured what you told them to.

I was hit by a policy holder on April 20th 2012 in a parking lot. Although my car was 90% out of my parking space, and the USSA policy holders car was just starting to back out when we hit.

No damage was done to their car, but about $500.00 damage was done to mine.

I called USSA and gave them all the information the required, but as of today May 7th 2012 I have yet to hear from the claim adjuster. I did however call their claims department on May 1st and another claims adjuster told me that they ( USSA )have determined that no one was at fault.

Still waiting to hear from the claims who took all the information with a reason for their decision.

Had hail damage on my car today. Called USAA insurance since my car is under storage insurance to report a claim but since my car is already paid for USAA will cannot cover the damage, I was told that Storage insurance would work only if the car was still financed....
