Update to this post. My fraud report stated the fraudulent activity (my plane ticket) was 2224.28.

My PENDING charge was 2233.73. AND GUESS WHAT!? When the charge went through I was charged 2248.60!!! Does no one see that they are literally skimming off the top?

Stealing money from people. This is a disgrace. We are in the process of moving our money. EVRERYTHING.

This bank steals money.

I have he receipt from the airline. My bank charged me completely different than how he airline charged me.

I have had problems with usaa I had 2 fraud companies which I let usaa know on January 19th.2019 they said it could be a couple months. on the 22nd I was told they were investigating.

I was notified on the 30th that case closed. the merchant commented in their documents usaa paid them on the 23rd, I was mad I said I was not given a chance to give my side, the company used form letters and said I was aware of this. They refused to listen to me. there were 5 companies involved in the fraud, I contacted ic3 aka fbi, occ, omb, ofpb Senator, bbb, and told to contact attorney general.

It is against the law for a Federal Savings Bank to take SS Check money.

The OFPB regulates Federal Bank. Change to a local bank but stay away from charges for any bank with charges stay away from Wells Fargo they are no better than USAA.

No, don't go to Bank of America. You may regret that too.

For an account, either checking, savings or even credit card, find a local credit union and set them up there. You join too. Not only better, local service but all around better. At one time I had three kids in the military starting when they were 18 and set them up with my credit union with me as co-owner----that way I could do anything on their accounts if they were deployed overseas, etc.

This worked out fine as there were instances where I had to do something on their accounts while they were away and couldn't do it. Get out of USAA because, as you say they have very poor customer service now.

If you put in your wrong pin number they will deny you access to your money in your bank account and will not let you even speak to anybody at the whole company. Process to undo that is 24 to 48 hours and you have to find your original Social Security card. Yes they won't even allow you to make a deposit or get any of your cash. They treat their 30 year members like criminals when they are the criminals holding your money.

USAA - Hold on Funds

Every week, sometimes multiple times a week, I transfer money in my USAA account from an external account. A few days ago, I made my normal external deposit into USAA. I logged into my account and there was a hold. I was never informed of the hold. And to make matters worse, the hold is for 9 days (more than 5 business days). I have about 6 accounts with USAA. All my accounts are in good standing, three accounts are savings. Representative told me to transfer money from savings into my checking if I were concerned about a check bouncing. USAA's service and products have gone down. I'm done. I keep most of my deposits at a local branch where I live. I think I will keep it that way. USAA has lost a big chunk of my business. I expect this from Bank of America or Wells Fargo, not USAA!

USAA. Was a very good bank, their service is now horrible. I have been with them 43 years. The decline has been ongoing for the past five years. My advice to anyone considering usaa is go to a credit union, if that is not an option use a local or regional bank. In any case avoid USAA
