It took a number of phone calls with numerous representatives but I was able to finally have someone help me. They mailed me a check for the full amount. They put me in touch with a specific person who followed up with me until the issue was resolved.

After four days I finally got through to the USAA Bank loan department. After three agents I was put on hold for forty minutes and finally gave up! I have been a member for over 50 years and the service has never been worse.You can't even ask a general question without going through their new security program. You now need a password, PIN and security number. I am disappointed in a company that no longer cares about its clients and foolishly makes it too hard to do business with. This is not the company I was proud to be a member of. Instead, this is an example of a lack of responsive leadership. USAA should be ashamed of its poor performance!

I spoke today with USAA "Executive Resolution Department " I am satisfied that they will take the appropriate actions to insure the individuals will get timely access to speak with a "Supervisor" when they request one.

I have watched my last commercial about how wonderful usaa is. We had savings & checking accounts with them. Because of their lax customer service we were ripped off for $1500. I got caught in a scam. I made a mobile deposit of the check I had been sent. I was then asked to wire a majority of the money to a person. I called usaa & asked if the check had cleared & if I could draw on it. I was told there was no problem & I was able to use the money. I wired the money to the scammer & then contacted by usaa that the check was not good & the money removed from my account. I contacted usaa several times concerning this & they said it was not their problem.

USAA FSB did not cover the fraud on my stolen credit card

I had a credit card with USAA Federal Savings Bank for many years. Several months ago my card was stolen, and then used to purchase nearly $4000 worth of jewelry at a store I had never heard of. The bank sent me a text asking if I had authorized this purchase (no). At this point, the transaction should have been blocked. It was not. Subsequently, the bank refused to cover the fraud. The rationales were, first, “the signatures matched” (they didn’t), and, even more asinine, “the card was used in your geographical area” ( the card was used about 25 miles away from where I live. And why should that matter anyway?). I have called many times and written, to no avail. I am being forced to pay for a $3,942 fraud. DO NOT GET A CARD WITH USAA FSB unless you are prepared to absorb the cost of any potential fraud.

Someone was able to deposit a bugus check for 886.00 from a company that didn't even know these checks were stolen yet until the bank madee aware that this check was no good instead of giving me a chance to explain or investigate. They shut me access to my banking account the closed out any benefits the bank didn't even want anything to do with me as far as they were concern I was the criminal not the victim and than they take the money out so that I can pay for this fraudulent check.

Update to this post. My fraud report stated the fraudulent activity (my plane ticket) was 2224.28.

My PENDING charge was 2233.73. AND GUESS WHAT!? When the charge went through I was charged 2248.60!!! Does no one see that they are literally skimming off the top?

Stealing money from people. This is a disgrace. We are in the process of moving our money. EVRERYTHING.

This bank steals money.

I have he receipt from the airline. My bank charged me completely different than how he airline charged me.

USAA - Can't bank while travelling in Europe and lots of BS crap from customer service.

I was recently travelling in Bulgaria where I've traveled for several years without a problem. This time my ATM card did not allow me to withdraw cash in this country despite the fact that I had called prior to my trip to put a travel notice in my account. Called USAA customer service from a small village in Bulgaria while sitting under a tree in the park. Did not appreciate at all having to wade through a lot of automated BS while trying to get to a person.Appreciated even less the extremely young customer service representative who tried to tell me some crap about my card being damaged or near a magnet! Here I am sitting under a tree in a foreign country surrounded by my baggage and no electricity, having to argue about magnets and card damage to a card that had been safely in my wallet for the entire trip! After I asked to speak to someone else with more authority, this person who sounded equally young, told me it was probably some problem on the Bulgarian Banks end with tighter regulations with the US, and not on the end of USAA so that they could do nothing! Thank God I had a couple of hundred bucks in cash with me that I could change, because I was unable to use my ATM card for the entirety of my trip and this was really a problem. My sister, BTW who banks with Citi Bank, and is also a US citizen was perfectly able to withdraw cash using her ATM card from her bank in the states. I do not appreciate the zero customer service from USAA who did nothing at all to fix the problem and especially do not appreciate that two different representatives tried to sell me two different BS crap stories instead of at least admitting that they didnt have a clue.
