USAA - False advertisement

I went to USAA and got a quote of $572 a year on auto insurance and $1217 home insurance. Ended up being $384 every 6 months ($768 a year) auto and $1384 home. I couldn't pay for a full year for auto. Auto went from $250 to $500 deductible and home went from $1000 to $5000 deductible! I was originally with Nationwide for $752 auto and $1125 home. If I had known, I would have never switched. When I canceled, they couldn't understand why I was upset, and I was mistaken about everything I said. But now I know how they can have ads every 5 minutes. By ripping off people!

USAA is not the company you see on TV we have to take them to court 2 times now in order to get them to pay as in my policy states in Michigan we have unlimited medical personl injury protection they stall and stall and really are not the company protracted on the TV a actors , if you are a USAA client and get in a bad accident you better get a very good attorney !

Bought a new vehicle, called USAA for a quote. They said $670.00. Ok, no problem, then the policy comes in three weeks later at nearly $1200. Nothing changed since the quote, nothing. Dropped them like a hot potato. Very dishonest company, stay away.

Usaa booked a rental reservation for me and there are no cars available. One of your customers hit my car and Ive been without a vehicle for 2 days now. Im really not satisfied with how this is being handled.

First off, may I suggest TO USAA, ( like they really care) that they immediately hire a team of miracle workers, to take on the massive accumulation of negative comments being left on their own comment pages, and start to find some real resolve to our complaints. Any company that does not try to at least respond to these massive complains, tells me all I need to know about this company. So IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO INVOLVE I SAW IN ANY BANKING OR SERVICE NEEDS, JUST TAKE HEADE, OF USAA'S PRIOR Consumers like myself, and find a NICE CREDIT UNION THAT VALUES YOUR BUSINESS, BECAUSE USAA, HAS LOST ITS WAY. What once was a quality BANK, no longer care about pleasing their consumers, and that makes me sad, because God knows the folks that keep.our country great , just have one more disappointment they have to contend with. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR IT. My issue is small compared to others here, but what I known is this: USAA. insured my two vechiles, and charged me for a vehicle in storage, and after they did their 'once a year credit check' ( No traffic tickets ) my insurance jumped from $70.00 a month to $250.00 a month, With changing my coverage to the minimum coverage. They did this ** all in one month. ** I moved to Nevada and they continued to charge me a California policy along with a Nevada policy. When my automatic bill pay for $255, didn't go through my bank account, they cancelled my insurance, all in the same month. They notified the DMV in Nevada ( mandatory state ) informing them I wasn't covered. I wasn't even aware of what they did, until.it was all too late. When I went to pay for my cars renewal registration, I was fined $700, for no insurance . When I went to get other insurance, it showed I had a gap.I'm my insurance. Causing real costs to go.up. This cost me about $2500 all together. They could care less. Back in 2018, I thought I had worked this out with them, (although I didn't carry their insurance any longer.) They claimed to not charge me for the outstanding $300 they claimed I still owed them on a second policy. > at The end of 2019, I disputed a charge in my checking.they have me a credit but then reversed my credit two.months later. Again not informing me right away. They returned all my checks written for my mother's funeral, and charged me hundreds in bound check charges. Before the same month was up, ( No statement yet) they closed my account ! I continued to have my pension payments deposited for three months, making their negative balance in my account paid for. They took the last payment and had , leaving a balance of $300 ! When inquiring enough the overpayment, not listed on my documents in the records, just that my account was closed on Janurary 2020, the February deposit and the March deposit didn't show.up.anywhere. Only that I owe them $934. and my account was closed jan. 24. No accounting for the $635. THEY RECEIVED FOR THE LAST TWO.MONTHS. IT TOOK ME DAYS TO GET THEM TO ADMIT THEY STILL WERE RECEIVING MY DIRECT DEPOSIT FOR TWO MONTHS SO THEY had I called Feb. Of 2020 and asked why my deposits are not showing up on my account. They claimed that they didn't get them. Contact my pension company. I did. They said, they were sent to usaa. I secured proof. had to send it to usaa. Only days later, they said they would send out a check. First call: THEY SAID "THEY WILL SEND IT IN 8 BUSINESS DAYS. (EXPECT IT ON 3/7/20 ON MARCH 9TH I HAD TO CONTACT THEM AGAIN "WHERE'S MY MONEY I ASK THEM? THEY TELL ME, "YOUR ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED ON MARCH 7TH AND YOUR CHECK WILL BE SENT OUT TOMORROW. 3/8/2020. EXPECT IT ON 3/15/20.

USAA - Refusing to Pay Damage

Details
Refusing to properly pay our valid claim after their client severely damaged the driver's side door of our new vehicle in a parking lot. Was standing outside next to our parked vehicle with the driver's side door open when their client decides to take off driving forward through the parking space right next to ours and about rips the door off the vehicle when the rear wheel well of her vehicle grabs the lower corner of our open door. Their client gets out, admits guilt, provides her USAA insurance information, and then USAA denies our damage claim stating it had become our fault? Their client was illegally driving forward through their parking space and the parking space immediately in front of that when this occurred.

Signed up with USAA in 2012, auto and home. My wife and I are very senior citizens. Neither of us has had an "at fault" accident nor received a ticket in 45 plus years. We haven't contributed to one nickle of expense to USAA. We have the same two vehicles we started with and own the same residence. Moreover, our mileage driven has dropped off to where the total for both vehicles is now less than 7500 a year. Regardless, our auto premium has increased progressively to where it is now more than 30 percent higher than when we started, and, apparently, the contributing driving offense is our aging. Neither my wife nor I has a "restricted" license, but neither this nor our driving record seems to matter to USAA. When I call to inquire, their representatives are very polite, thank me for my service, and inform me that our increase is due to some nebulous change in a policy provision or a statewide underwriter stipulated increase, neither of which is easily determined. I think it's simply USAA's version of "age discrimination".

USAA - Avoid this company at any Cost

A USAA driver damaged my property and they have been non existent in responding. The told me they don’t have an adjuster in the area, so they are making ME do all the work for their insured liability. They initially told me they had no record of the owner, that they new of her, but the 2019 Nissan her daughter was driving was not a listed vehicle to the owner.

USAA - Cannot speak to anyone without a PIN number to input !!!!!

Was inputting an auto claim to which was short stopped by their system when trying to edit it due to "technical difficulties". I then attempted to contact the 800 number for assistance. But since I do not know what my PIN number is I have been unable to speak to anyone since there is no alternative to not having your PIN number. No help at all, since all the available phone numbers begin with the same request to input your PIN number.
