Had that issue too. They wouldn't even let me pay more a month to have REAL coverage.

Used to be it just covered the cost.

now it covers a maximum of $20 a day? What's this insurance for anyway?

My vehicle was parked and hit by another vehicle, owner of this vehicle had USSA insurance. The customer service reps were rude and I was lied to.

It was a freaking nightmare and I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. This company Is a scam. First contact I was threatened that if I went with my choice of autobody and the estimate was for three days and it took them five days, I would have to pay for car rental for two xtra days. I told this rude woman that I know they have to take door off to access further damage and if they can't get new door in right away due to unknown reason I would be charged and she said, "YES", so she said in a threatening voice, "You listen to every word I tell you, Sheila you understand me".

This is how it is going to go. We will approve estimate and you will receive check in mail right a way and we will contact so and so car rental company and it is up to you to make sure you get the rental car back there in time do you understand? I agreed and she hung up, she was being so rude and interrupting, so the conversation ended and rental company phoned me in ten minutes and I told them the insurance company has not approved the estimate so I am still waiting. It took them five business days to approve the estimate.

They called me and left me a message and told me they are not approving the paint estimate and I will have to pay for paint. Then they sent me a check and I picked up my car and paid them the amount of check and off I go. Today I receive a statement they will not pay any additional repair charges to my Auto Body Shop and to go elsewhere. This company representatives, five of them were all mean, unaccommodating and nasty.

They never corresponded to my auto body only once, they felt like they enjoyed harassing me. I have never seen anything like it in my life. I thought it was a nightmare.

PLease do not subscribe to this insurance company , they will do their best to try to cheat you out of a estimate and not pay the full amount. I am going to make a claim with the Texas Insurance Commissioner.

USAA - Terrible service, they don't work for you!

I had a fender-bender accident in a small parking lot. I reported the incident to the police, whereas the other party fled the scene. I called USAA for support, submitting my statement and incident report police made. I got a response from USAA--the Agent thinks that I am 100% liable for the accident, though police's observation was totally opposite. They ignored my official documents, kept saying that the decision would stay the same. They give us no explanation why they reached the decision, and why they will not change their decision, in spite of all those contradictions in their base assessment. And I've got conflicting observations from other USAA agents...still the agent is determined to stick to her first decision. I don't understand why USAA thinks that all these official reports are useless, and treat me like a criminal. We are so disappointed to know that USAA will not support the clients. We are totally unhappy with the way they are handling this issue.

USAA - Claim Adjuster never returns my calls.

Every time I call I get routed to my claim adjuster and the message always says she is out of the office. I have been a USAA member for over 20 years. I have stayed with USAA because their customer service has always been exemplary. If I wanted the type of service I have received recently I would go with other companies.

USAA - Treated like dirt

I was told by my father that USAA insures former military officers and their families 30 years ago. It is extremely sad that they have turned into another insurance company that is all they are. 3 weeks since a car accident and they have not paid us for the equity in our vehicle due to their third party. I have companies to no avail! USAA is horrible am so will be leaving them .

More than 6 weeks since claim submitted and all contact has been initiated by me. Good luck trying to get someone to answer your call or return a call. This has got to be one of the worst Auto Insurance companies ever, stay away! Followed all their protocol and were assigned a claim number. I am having the same problem I have to initiate all calls and emails I never get answered nor do they call me back. I accidentally got the person on the phone to actually talk to me she was very polite and sweet and professional but since then I have been unable to get in touch with anyone there. I also am having the same problem with this *** company Bad Faith Company. USAA at-fault driver causes serious damages to my vehicle.

Took the word of their lying policy holder over the police report and a witness.

When USAA does a good job they are great. but........ When they are garbage, their customer service is rock bottom. USAA should hang their heads in shame. My daughter (Who is on my insurance at the time) had an accident with a kamikaze deer. Took USAA a week just to pick the car up because they were so in competent they could not listen to the directions and made assumptions. Then lied about why they could not pick it up repeatedly. I requested it be taken to another competent USAA assessor but Nope, it stayed there. I was very vocal on their claims page about my dissatisfaction and what ended up happening, they totaled the car and low balled the estimate. Penny pinching garbage. USAA Taking care of the Troops. NOT.

USAA - Horrible company to deal with and absolute cowards!

Called our car a total. Gave us 3 days to turn in the rental. Refuse to pay storage charges at body shop. Want to take our car and pay us what they feel it's worth. Most ignorant woman I have ever dealt with. Take it or leave it attitude. So stay away from these people. They only care about saving themselves money rather than making people whole.
