Horrible service to members, treat you like a criminal after 1 claim for hit and run totaling $3400 and could care less if been member for 20 years, but will take your premiums. Not the same company it was when I joined in Army.

Those letters you showed us ARE the acknowledgement.

The status letter they sent you (twice) is why they have more than 45 days. I bet you did something extra dumb for your claim to take that long.

"They reassured me not to worry I am in good hands." You misunderstood. That phrase was Allstate, not USAA. Best to find better insurance for your needs, as I am sure you are aware.

So you had your vehicle repaired before they approved any repairs and now you’re mad they aren’t going to do what you want? In your mind whatever you want should be covered?

Because you never asked what would happen and ASSumed that if you whined and moaned enough they’d pay anything you wanted. Sorry pal.

Next time file with your own company. The other party’s insurance only owes you a check when their investigation is complete, not when you feel like it.

Well, I was wrong! After my friends at the garage pulled all the damaged stuff out of the way, the metal plate part at the front corner of the passenger side frame, the part that the bumper and other parts attach to is bent.

But not the "frame" (rail) itself. An expert is going to look at it and if that extended part of the frame can be straightened, it might be recoverable. If not, I'll be parting the truck out and keeping certain improvements recently made to put into a replacement of approximately the same year and engine type.

Have talked with the Claims rep since then and things seem to be cordial again.

Same experience, had been a member for years. When situation arose with my son in an accident, customer service was horrible.

To boot they dropped our son from the insurance. Way to take care of those that serve.

After that we went to Navy Federal for banking and Farmers for insurance. Don’t believe the commercials that USAA plays, they are lies.

USAA lied to me and tried to confuse me so they wouldn't have to pay.

Usaa sucks they only wanted to pay 500 for my car with kbb of 4000 prior to accident when their driver hit my car I have State Farm and I am glad I have State Farm I would get out of usaa and go to State Farm if I had usaa State Farm paid 6000 for my car and I got a newer car with less miles I am glad I do not have usaa do not use usaa if you can
