USAA sucks. They lie and leave you stranded for hours without at least a call stating that what they just lie to you about wasn't going to happen. I was stranded for 4hrs after being told a tow truck was on the way and then they canceled my rental reservation all whilst telling me to go to Enterprise. Yet they told Enterprise I was paying out of pocket. What a load of crap...Fuck USAA but I guess I should've known (USA)A). What a *** joke!

Details
They paid the body shop more than the car is worth! Unreturned phone calls. Talk to a new person every time we call, no one knows whats happening. Multiple requests to speak with a manager have been ignored.

Their Driver hit me, totaled my car and USAA is doing EVERYTHING they can to NOT pay a dime! Disgusting!

USAA - They are not very courteous retuning phone calls when there is a claim.

They don't return calls in courteous or timely manner.

I have personally experienced the exact same scenario. I put together a call log for all of the calls I made to them in regards to an auto claim.

98% of my voice mails were never returned. 100% of the calls I made were sent to voice mail.

I was hit by a USAA policy holder and the entire process of dealing with this company was miserable. I received a phone call stating they were assuming liability call back to set up an adjuster. When I did the rep said sorry we aren't assuming liability that was a mistake but he would set me up with an adjuster while they waited on the paperwork they needed. It was 3 weeks before I called back since no one contacted me stating oh sorry miscommunication of course we are accepting liability. I set up a date for repair call for a rental and as we do the rental im told sorry usaa is denying the rental call this number. I call usaa again told sorry for that but of course you get a rental. I make another rental for enterprise a few days later I have to change the date because of a work conflict and am told my rental is cancelled. So I get to sit on hold to speak to usaa again and another excuse is made and I call enterprise back to set it up again. I call enterprise the day im picking the rental up to make sure that they have the correct time and im told it was cancelled 4 days prior so I get to call usaa yet again I get told sorry for the miscommunication I have no idea why its cancelled we set it back up. at this time I state how aggravated I am and that I know they don't have to give me a comparable car but I think they should for the aggravation. the rep tells me she has to send it to a agent and then a manager will approve it I ask will someone actually call me back she states yes. I get a voicemail stating I hear you have a question about your rental but it doesn't state the question call us back. when I do I have to explain all over my frustration and am told a manager will have to look it over and call me back. then a manager calls me back and basically tells me im lying about everything cause most of it is not documented and that I might be frustrated but it wasn't that much of an inconvenience so he wont do anything. so here we are me with a wrecked car and very dissatisfied and usaa not carrying at all. I work for the VA hospital and I wont ever use Usaa because of their poor customer service and handling of this claim

These guys and their process are a solid one star. Disorganized, looses signed documents, assumes where car is. Aa month later still jave not payment. They are real quick to total. Automated phone system has a lot to be desired.

Details
On Oct 7th my car was totalled and I was found at 0% fault by both companies. However usaa still attempted to charge me a 1000$ deductible when I called they removed it. Then after I accepted a settlement they tried to send me a different settlement in the mail with another 1000$ deductible attached to it once again. They have been nothing but useless and shady.

USAA - Trying to collect on a claim!

On 8/14/2019 a USAA member pulled out in front of me and we collided. He was at fault. I submitted pictures via phone to USAA per there instructions. A check for damages was written on 8/18/19 for $2400. On 8/23rd I was contacted and told my auto was a total loss. It has been in the shop since the 15th of August. I turned in my rental the following day. We agreed that I would buy back my vehicle. Called on the 29th no check. Called on the 9th still no check it will probably be a couple of days. Meanwhile I have been without an auto for over a month. I can't believe these people stay in business. Do I have to get a lawyer to get my $$$$! I am definately a pissed consumer.

My vehicle was involved in an accident that was the fault of a USAA member. They did not return calls, did not respond to any correspondence, then finally DENIED my clam. THIS COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT A FRAUD !!! They take members money and do NOTHING to resolve claims. They provide nothing more than a "Proof of Insurance" for Law Enforcement when pulled over. This company needs a complete leadership change. If you are a member, LEAVE. Get other insurance. If you have a claim against USAA, get ready to pay out of pocket for repairs. TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL, TOTALLY WORTHLESS !!!

USAA - HORRIBLE! Multiple days without contact after collision claim!

I got into an accident Friday and put in my auto claim on Friday at 4:46 CDT. I thought I might get a call Friday, but thought then Saturday maybe if you guys have office hours. Nothing throughout the weekend either. my car is driveable, but I should not be driving it as the shroud under the bumper is hanging and bounces off the road at times. I was fully expecting USAA to get me a rental before the next workday but did not. I am paying higher insurance than competitor insurance companies and getting sub-par service. I did not get a phone call until Monday while I was in a teleconference, after I had already tried calling 3 times. I called back and my associate was always helping another member. I did get another call at 254 PM CDT while I was away and called back 7 more times and waited but never got a phone call back. Tuesday I did not get any phone calls. I left a voicemail after work. I did not get any phone call. It is now Tuesday evening, and tomorrow will be 5 days. I still do not have a rental and am forced to drive to work with my bumper shroud bouncing off the road because USAA is giving me sub-par service. I drive 26 miles each way to work in the worst traffic in the US. Enterprise told me I cannot get a rental until USAA contacts them or I will not be reimbursed. This is such a shame and I am highly upset and embarassed.
