USAA in Pensacola, Florida - They lied!

I have my auto insurance and renters insurance with USAA. I thought I would get a pre-approval letter for a home loan from them. I was told it would cost me $50.00 for the approval letter and that every company charges this upfront and that at closing the 50 would be applied to the closing of the house. I being unexperienced beleived them and paid the charge. I soon found a home me and my husband told our realtor we wanted to place an offer. He asked me to send the pre-approval letter and he would get the paperwork started. I sent it and after 20min got a call back. He said the closing costs were way high, taxes estimated un realisticly low and the same with the insurance rate. So I called local lenders and found out he was correct and that they lied to me about the $50 charge and that the company has a bad reputation in the area for not financing at the last minute. I guess if you see a USAA approval letter you best double check it and sellers are cautious at accepting a persons offer when it's approved by USAA. No one charges an upfront fee for approval letters. I called USAA and asked them to give back or apply the 50 to my insurance or my bank account . Spoke to a manager and when I asked if the company had any vaules I was told "No, it's a company." I will be looking to be doing services elsewhere for all my needs. Also the Mover advantage and Home Circle is awlful. I have been trying to work with them for 2-months and have yet to get anything besides auto mail listings. No response to my e-mails, hard to get ahold of and I have been swaped to a diffrent agent yet still no reponse and with this new one no auto emails. I'm going with a local guy that I called to get info on a house right now. USAA just takes advantage of people.

USAA in New Orleans, Louisiana - They dropped me

i opened a checking account with usaa. my wife was visiting her mother out of the country and asked my to send her some money. after 2 transactions they closed the account. when i called to find out why, all they told me was they have a right to close any account and that it was just a business decision to close it. this was the only explanation i got from them. this was after having the account for only 2 weeks. i was told the remaining funds from the account would be sent to me within 14 days and that was it.

USAA in Washington, District Of Columbia - USSA Can suck A BIG One

They blocked my account. They have to review my accout. for what its my money i should be able to spend it the way i want.. when i want. How i want.... they are not helping me they are hurting my. I have a small business and i can not work now because all my money i have is in that account.. I cant buy gas. Nothing My jeep is on Empty. So i cant leave the house because i could not get gas, because they blocked my card.. So how is that helping a service member...leaving a vet. with no money....They are lucky they are in TX..

through them and they said no. They said they

are not writing policies in my area. So much for their

slogan"we know what it means to serve"

I guess my sixteen months in Vietnam means

You two need to hire a public adjuster to handle these problems for you. A public adjuster is licensed to negotiate with insurance companies.

If you are the victim of domestic violence regardless of your service affiliation, do NOT bank with USAA.

After my husband physically abused me and overdrew our joint account, USAA has now put holds on all of MY accounts.

From a standpoint of abuse, USAA is putting my life in danger by cutting off valuable resources and access to cash.

This is despicable.

I really hope that they get to experience the horror that I went through. USAA is a terrible financial institution and if something happens to me because I can't access money, there is blood on their hands.

I worked for usaa as credit card servicing. Just bein on the other side of the phones were bad.

I got escalated for a soft yawn on the phone.

They talked to me and told me not to be doing that or id be fired. "Sorry im tired" cant help you'r human reflexes.

I had been a member for 25 plus years and went to work for the company. I was very disappointed to see and feel the effects of the gender discrimination that goes on in the company at a lower level.

I've see the board of directors list and the executive list and I find it very hard to believe that they are being made aware of these issue to the extent that they exist. I expect as long as they continue to do business in the oppresive states and do not expand resources to the progressive states, these issues will continue to be swept under the rug. I suggest you get an attorney and fight this injustice to the bitter end because conditions for women and minorities need to improve.

USAA Authorizes $6000 Charge

On October 15 someone charged and USAA approved a $6000 charge to my account. Granted, given its a credit card account I'm not liable but that's not the point. They approved a $6000 charge yet about ten days earlier froze my account over three charges that totaled less $100. Go figure. The part though that aggravates me is I told them the charge was bogus on October 16 when I spotted it (it was a "pending" charge) and here it is the 24th and the $6000 is still showing as a charge. I'm being told I need to wait while the fraud department evaluates. Charge was made to an airplane salesman in Jay, Florida. Don't fly airplanes nor even own a pilot's license.
