Worst customer service ever. We have been with them for over 30 years and have multiple accounts. When we had an auto accident, they were impossible to deal with. Then, without warning, they converted our statements to online so that we missed payments. When we noticed it, they wouldn't post payment on the weekend so that our cards were on hold until the following week AND they had already charged us interest and a fee! Spent hours with the various resolution people until I finally was given the name of mark who I have been trying to reach for 3 weeks without success. We only got response when we started cancelling our accounts with them. They forced us to be demanding to finally get any service. They could have resolved it with one phone call but had to be difficult.

USAA in Phoenix, Arizona - Fraud on my debit

So in the past couple days i have called usaa multiple times due to fruad in my debit card. I have gotten the run around from multiple people there. And all but one person was rude. In this whole process me and my ex have been divorced for almost a year and usaa never took me off his account even know both of us did everything they asked. They have now closed both his and my account and are saying they do not want to business with us and that any fruad on my account he will be responsible for. This bank is ridiculous. I have gotten to the point were i dont know what to do. This is not my fault and yet were are paying the price. I get closing my account but his is beyond ***. Why tell you customers any fruad will be taken care of and then you treat your customers like this. Neither one of us can access any of are money and are no broke since we have no other accounts or credit cards. thank usaa for all the great customer service .

If I could give this bank negative stars I would. They are just like your average business, they don't care about you all they care about is the money. I've been with usaa ever since I was 14. And I have yet to have any problems with them until this past year. Since the start of 2016 my account has been apart of fraud multiple times. Instead of shutting the account down and issuing me a new account and card. They give me a new card with different numbers like that's going to solve anything. Now the biggest of them all, somebody has hacked into my account deposited fraudulent checks and left my account 1,310 in the negative. Guess what USAA has done? Lol not a thing, except covered their own butts in this whole process. I now owe USAA 1300 dollars of money I don't have nor did I take. They told me I was liable for the money because I offered my information to the scam!(which I might add is not true, the scammer had my information, acted as if he was my student loan specialist, got me to verify my information, and stole all my money in the process.)Ha now my hard earned money is being taken away from me because my information got stolen. Now I had taken full responsibility of verifying my info to this scammer, but even if I didn't answer the phone that day it would of still happened. That person had my info, and can still do whatever he wants with it. But they don't care about all of that, because they can't see the actual scammer scamming I'm the person at fault. They closed all of my accounts and proceeded to use my money that the hacker didn't take as collateral damage. And I've been left penniless and in debt. Now let me remind you I've never owed USAA a thing, never had any delinquencies with them, all I had were 3 accounts with them that never went negative past 50 dollars,(I had overdraft protection)and for them to completely wash their hands of me and argue with me about how I owe them money and they're going to get it "one way or another" is astounding! I wish I could talk to the CEO Stuart Parker and explain to him the mess I'm going through with his company. I know as one of the top banks in America that's not how their supposed to treat the people whose be loyal to them since day one. People throughout this world get scammed every single day, but with USAA you're liable. So if you ever considered banking with them, DONT! They could care less about you as a person, they only want your money. No protection, and don't get hacked because you're liable. USAA is a joke, you're better off banking with Chase or Wells Fargo.

The worse time of my life was when my father was dying and ask to come home and I had to day NO because USAA put my account into credit only status. Asked several times for helpnand was told No No and No. Will tell everyone that I spaek with for the rest of my life how terrible this bank truly is.

They locked my account mine and said not responsible for fee to bills only thing they do to serve veterans and bend them over. Yes they can contact me if they have the nerve my family is shutting down all accounts. Want to satisfy all my issue shut down all your fraud department personal accounts for three days and let bills go inpaid

So I kept trying to pay my credit card bill only to find out later my account I use to pay credit cards had expired. A representative from USAA called to notify me of this so I paid my credit card balance off with my debit card. A week later I get the same phone call and the representative said the last payment did not go through. They said I had to use my checking account info, not my debit card. So I did and it turned out they took the total balance twice. I owed about $400 and they took $800. Now they do not want to give me my money back because they do not know what account they transferred my money to. Chris Sanderson, a dispute resolution specialist, called me on 20 May 2016 and said he is researching the matter. It is now 17 June 2016 and I have not heard anything back. I left him a voicemail on 31 May 2016 and he has not got back with me. I called him today and left him another voicemail, 17 June 2016. They took the funds on the 5th and 12th of April. I had called them near the end of April originally to let them know I have not received my money back. I have talked to about 10 USAA representatives and not a single one can help. Hear I thought USAA was great with customer service but the service they have provided has been hugely disappointing.

The same thing happened to my account someone transferred 1000.00 from my account to a pay pal account and the fraud department after doing their investigation stated it was me, when I told them clearly that the money that they had taken was my mortgage payment. The worst thing is they treat the customer like they committed the allegation when I didn't. Then I got banned from USAA without retrieving my funds back and they won't even allow me to pay my debts that I have with them because they no longer want to do business with me after 4 years. I thought that they were a better bank considering that I work for the bank and know the protocol it was sad and very disappointing. I will never recommend anyone to do business with them ever
