My vehicle was parked and hit by another vehicle, owner of this vehicle had USSA insurance. The customer service reps were rude and I was lied to.

It was a freaking nightmare and I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown. This company Is a scam. First contact I was threatened that if I went with my choice of autobody and the estimate was for three days and it took them five days, I would have to pay for car rental for two xtra days. I told this rude woman that I know they have to take door off to access further damage and if they can't get new door in right away due to unknown reason I would be charged and she said, "YES", so she said in a threatening voice, "You listen to every word I tell you, Sheila you understand me".

This is how it is going to go. We will approve estimate and you will receive check in mail right a way and we will contact so and so car rental company and it is up to you to make sure you get the rental car back there in time do you understand? I agreed and she hung up, she was being so rude and interrupting, so the conversation ended and rental company phoned me in ten minutes and I told them the insurance company has not approved the estimate so I am still waiting. It took them five business days to approve the estimate.

They called me and left me a message and told me they are not approving the paint estimate and I will have to pay for paint. Then they sent me a check and I picked up my car and paid them the amount of check and off I go. Today I receive a statement they will not pay any additional repair charges to my Auto Body Shop and to go elsewhere. This company representatives, five of them were all mean, unaccommodating and nasty.

They never corresponded to my auto body only once, they felt like they enjoyed harassing me. I have never seen anything like it in my life. I thought it was a nightmare.

PLease do not subscribe to this insurance company , they will do their best to try to cheat you out of a estimate and not pay the full amount. I am going to make a claim with the Texas Insurance Commissioner.

I wouldn’t call you back if you were a pain in the *** either. I’m not even insured with them but, on a human level, dealing with you sounds like a nightmare.

I am having the exact issue you are having almost exact except my car was in 4 feet of flood water .my claim was submitted on 12-21-18 and hear it is the first week of march and iaa or iia who is supposed to pick the car up from the shop still has not done so i have sent the title in weeks ago. it took the sub contracted claims adjuster forever to come out just to take pics he came out Feb21 of this year when the claim i made was 12-21-18 and then took the guy another 4 days to get to the shop where they had it go to be taken apart to see how much damage was done by the water.

the guy deemed it a total loss that same day and here it is 2 weeks later no payment no nothing still paying insurance and was told the same as you about being back dated . let me also add that i did not get a rental until 2-21 so i went almost 2 months with no rental paying out of my own pocket. i have every conversation recorded like yourself , and going forward will record every conversation i have with usaa because they cannot be trusted anymore. i've been a customer for 10 plus years and in the past 3 to 4 years they have really gone downhill.

this is supposed to be a thank you for our service? what a kick in the *** I have now consulted a lawyer to protect myself.

USAA in Plano, Texas - The worst

This is the worst insuarance company ever. They were clearly at fault for an accident, which the police report clearly showed, but the adjuster by the name of Kristy Martin nevertheless split the fault. How can one explain this? USAA won't, they just say their way and give no explanation or reasoning behind their solution.

I have had the worst experience with my auto claim with USAA. They have not paid for my rental car which was over $800.00 and they have only paid for 90% of my auto repairs. The body shop had to fight them to get them to pay that much. I am at this point out over $1800.
