On 24 June at 9pm, my daughter got a flat tire in a construction zone. She immediately called roadside assistance because it was unsafe to change the tire where the car sat.
She was told 55 minutes until service would arrive. After 60 min she called USAA again and was told 110 min. As cars would speed by within inches from her car, 3 towtrucks went by. When we contacted USAA they said the vendor they had on contract wanted to do a different tow first.
I convinced USAA to have the State Police to provide some protection. When the police arrived, they said the situation should have been a high priority call. USAA customer service manager stated the time was due to not having anyone else on contract to assist; what a poor excuse for poor service.
Not only did they provide poor service, but they put it down as 3 claims and stated they cannot be removed once entered. This drives up insurance rates, what a scam!
