USAA changed their site to prohibit the use of private secure messages...

USAA has taken away our ability to send a secure private message, instead it always goes to the auto chatbot and then if you need to talk to someone it has you in a queue. If I had time to sit in a bloody line or wait for chat it would be fine, but am overseas and don't want to pay for long distance call, don't havetime to sit and wiat for some obtuse operator to chat with...what a bloody *** USAA has become. I want the ability to send a message, as before, instead of waiting on hold. Get it together !!!

Horrible service from a once stellar company. 8 year USAF veteran and have been a usaa customer over 15 years. Multiple bank accounts, credit card, multiple previous auto loans, investments, home and auto. Have moved all of my insurance after checking rates elsewhere...

USAA has stolen my savings account

My husband passed away on March 5, 2022 he had been a member since 1969. We had been together since 1992 and I was on all of our accounts. We have a trust and wills. Our savings account opened 2012 holds most of our funds. I opened my account and found the savings account missing. USAA claims I had no signature card on file. They refuse to allow me to use my account, its just gone.I now have hired an attorney to fight for me. Im a senior citizen and grieving over my loss. How do I pay for his funeral?

Can not use my credit card ! Decliner yesterday and unable to CALL, EMSI OR CHAT WITH THEM !

I can not use my credit card at my local ATM machine ! Card declined , but over 500 still available on card . Unable to call , email or chat with USAA and I have been a member since 1962 !

needed roadside assistance and nobody helped. they continued to hang up the phone on me! i ended up doing everything out of pocket. nobody helped in anyway - they put me on hold then hung up after 15 minutes

Agent Jackie Johnston is rude

After many, many years with USAA, I am about to make my first claim when I am stuck talking to the rudest, most disrespectful agent imaginable! She is talking down to me and making sarcastic remarks, like where does she get off talking to a loyal customer this way? Loyal no more! After this, Im done with USAA!

Horrible customer service not ADA compliant

Your website is not HANDICAP ACCESSIBLE- to require blind people to have an online account is BS. To require someone who is legally blind who doesnt leave house is BS. Further more to require them to upload documents or get a code on their cell phone is BS. WE have been with USAA for 50 years and the customer service is horrible. It shouldnt take 2 hours to verify identity bc someone doesnt have a pin. Customer service has decreased horriblly last couple years and both my parents and i will be moving all our insurance and cc accounts to someone who actually cares.

They don't read complaints...they have billons in the bank to cover their Arses.Their IT dept needs an overhaul. If it ain't broke don't fix it. It for THEM not the customer. Board believes all the crap from IT dept t keep their jobs going.

Burocratic nightmare

Even a simple phone call takes 30 minutes Between frustrating sign in and numerous questions, they dont seem at all interested in the reason for your call or helping you. We are 50 year members and couldnt even find a place to file this complaint with them.

Worst customer service ever

Most recently we received a robocall about suspected fraud. As with every time my elderly father calls in he gets a representative claiming to be protecting him by asking ridiculous questions he can't answer. Refused to connect call with their fraud department or supervisor. USAA not only has the rudest and most unhelpful customer service, their rewards are inferior to their competitors as well.
