I too am appalled at the level of fighting paying my medpay benefits has occurred from them. I will be leaving them as a customer after 30 years. They used to be wonderful and now providers too tell me they are the worst at paying claims.

RUN! Never Ever use USAA

I have been a customer for over 30 years and called to remove a car from the policy. They couldn't authenticate me because I didn't know my usaa.com login id? I knew everything else and provided my "phone" ID. First agent gave me "Denise" in security who asked inaccurate previous addresses from public records and told me she couldn't authenticate. She asked if I lived at 12 Elk Lane. I said no...12 Eli Lane - as I had insurance through them for 25 years. I was trying to give more information and said that i was trying to help and she said "no you're not" "you need to KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT". Great way to treat customers. I asked for her supervisor and a recording of the phone call and she would provide neither and then hung up.

Details
USAA sold off their mutual fund investment operations. Victory Capitol puts you on hold forever and you can no longer redeem your own shares, I guess because you arent smart enough anymore to handle your own portfolio. Im divesting away from USAA and all of their other products. After 30+ years as a member, the company has lost its way by getting too big and outsourcing. Response times now like everyone else, reduced hours, and loss of trust in handling claims. But apparently plenty of money for ads and new customer acquisition.

WtfMy auto insurance with usaa had lapsed due to none payment. (hard times..lost job due to govt shut down) called usaa and gave them my telephone password..the young lady put me on hold ..4 ever...she came back to tell me i needed to verify who i was..transfer me to me to a different dept and another person came on the phone. hello ser she says..im going to be asking you a series of questions. i said ok..she then ask me about my nephew several cousins and my father not to mention there address and ages. USAA review: Stay away

I was with USAA for 11 years. I hit a deer and I had to travel to Canada. My adjuster was Kansas Henderson (https://www.linkedin.com/in/kansas-henderson-3b768693). At the time I did not have an international calling plan. So I had her schedule the calls so I could use Google Voice after three times of this unprofessional not answering the scheduled calls and then no ability to get ahold of her management. I dropped USAA. Any company that would keep this kind of un professional on board is not a company I will do business with.

USAA review: Have not recieved my package of documents to sign

On Friday November 29 I spoke with Janel Jureczki concerning our car when she told me it had been totaled. She asked me to contact Gerber auto body repair and release my car to them. On Saturday morning Nov 30 I went to Gerber Auto repair and released my damaged vehicle as requested. On Monday Dec 2 I spoke with Ms. Jureczki who explain she would be putting a package in the mail by FEDEX and I should receive it within 2 business days. I have tried numerous time to contact Ms. Jureczki to no avail. On Thursday Dec 5 I spoke with another agent (Roger) who said he would text her to she what was going on. He said he verified no documentation had been sent out to us by Ms. Jureczki. I just tried to contact Ms. Jureczki but she was busy so I left another message. Ms. Jureczki said she would extend my rental car another week. It runs out tomorrow so I will be turning it in so I will not have to pay extra. I did not receive any documentation or a settlement for another vehicle. I am now left without a car because someone did not follow up on what they told me they would do. Please have someone contact me ASAP. Hopefully this is not an example of how USAA treats their customers Robert Gober Jr

Made a claim September 9th 2019. Usaa tried to total my car for a little fender bender, then proceeded to lose my keys, lose my car, screw up at every chance they had. Talked to the head of customer service and that *** couldnt give me one good reason why I should stay a customer. In short I feel totally let down by a company who profits off of veterans ( big shock ) and treats them like garbage!
