Ever since Stuart Parker took over as CEO of USAA, the company has turned to ***. No service, all greed. They left me in the dust when I needed them most. This kind of stuff never happened under the direction of the last CEO. They used to be like a brother to me. Always there to help, and now they've turned into a greedy, technology-happy, corner-cutting piece of *** company. This is especially awful due to the fact that their primary goal is supposed to be serving those who have served the country. Active duty, veterans, etc. I'm a disabled combat veteran getting hardly anything from the VA and now I'm getting mistreated by USAA.

ah... I'm just getting started finding out more about USAA.

I'm a vet, have been with for decades... but at the moment they have made it impossible for me to pay of my small charge from them (blocked me for the website where I would pay, for one thing), and refuse to discuss with me (email me with no possible reply, give me phone numbers than never answer).

They have tacked many "fees" on me, place me for collection, and ruined my credit rating. Interesting to know why they went evil on us.

They admitted there was a fraudulent charge on our credit card in a European city - where we were charged twice at 2 different rates for 1 Iris Hotel room. After "Mat" at CEO Services admitted this and said he would look into it further, he called back a day later to say they would do nothing more.

So someone above him told him to do no more. In other words, we were responsible for both the legitimate and the fraudulent charge. We've now completely pulled our savings out of their bank, and are looking for new insurers.

We've been with them for over 40 years, so we aren't making this decision lightly. So sorry to see such a great company turn so bad.

Agreed they have there back..to you..your just a number$$$ to them…terrible service and had I my fon stolen, and could not verify for months to take insurance off and claims. And they still were charging me for those.

Notes no cr e dit and items stolen or no longer. Fon verification is bad and hacking…I know personally…it was in the news and the “wired “ magazine…

Sorry to hear brother as a past USAA member, as adisabled older veteran. It’s all the banks agenda!

See the big banks CEO’s etc, resignations during ups and downs like 2008-9 crash and during Trumps presidency, others in the past. Most recently in the past year! And just follow the money. Every Business like Wally World!, Amazon, etc.

They resign(runaway) b4 with there wealth and guaranteed bonuses, when things like the economy change, lije before it crashes, corrects, stock market, “covid”, pandemics, war and so on excuses... all BS and history repeats itself! God bless brother and thank you for your service if it’s appropriate now?...Lita if documents, documentaries, books on this subject. Peace and blessings for you and all affected by this agenda.

Unbelievable treatment

DDon'tdeal deal D D Hello, So the nightmare continues! My car was totaled out and they did get a rental car from enterprise in kannapolis the people in kannapolis are truly awesome. However the Ford escape I was driving broke down pretty much as soon as I got to Lumberton where I am movinUSAA ag because my uncle's home where I have lived for many years sold. He passed away in 2021. I was backing our of modern home furniture when all the gas poured out of my vehicle, u called enterprise emergency roadside assistance they had me call the fire department to clear the car for towing so I then called enterprise back it took almost 5 hours for a tow truck it's now midnight and I'm stranded at a location I'm unfamiliar with and no ride home a stranger finally gave me a ride home. I've been without a vehicle since Wednesday! Enterprise finally sent a Uber around 6pm to take me to the Fayetteville airport drop me off and I was told a replacement vehicle was waiting for me! WRONG!! they had no vehicle and no communication about replacing my car. So now it's almost 9:30pm and I finally got a ride home. I still have no car I'm stranded again. We have spent over $200 dollars on delivery food I have a 10 year old grandson I can not get to a grocery store I'm not able to get walmart to deliver because of the new address and I'm getting absolutely nowhere but BROKE! I need help I can't handle anymore this has been the worst experience of my life! I just want to give up and cry at this point. I'm beyond pissed! Still stranded I received a call from the manager at Enterprise and they are paying for my rental until the 20th of September however they need a fifty dollar deposit and I have depleted all my funds trying to keep my family fed as we had only been in Lumberton fourty minutes before the car broke down we are completely stranded we can't get to the grocery store we are sleeping on the floor my mother is 74 years old and suffering from Dementia and she is sleeping on the floor! So copart released my car to go to the body shop only only they are not giving me the settlement money they are paying auto money which I go to court on in a class action lawsuit on October 2nd they owe myself and countless others money for illegal title loans in north carolina. So one group is telling me they are bypassing the title as I'm retaining my vehicle and then the claim department is telling me I have to fix my vehicle on my own and they are paying auto money! I'm not permitted to speak to this company my daughter was in a financial bind and that was the only reason to deal with them. I was unaware of everything going on here as I had to rush to las vegas where my fiancee was diagnosed with stage four cancer he recently passed away I was unable to get back to him or collect his ashes. I like the company but they are the worst to a simple thing like just logging in. I've been trying to log in for over a week now and even talked on the phone to their tech support team on Monday and I never got called back. USAA denied my claim stating they should have never given me the policy in the first place, but they did, and they received all of my premiums. USAA dropped The ball by not doing their own due diligence by not denying me, but because they did, and I have a current policy paid USAA should honor their own contract and pay out. This is totally embarrassing and the excuse is even more embarrassing that you dropped the ball you knew you hit it and you saved it for the time for me to put in a claim.

We couldnt believe USAA would use a third-party out of state appraiser, but they do that now. He used one vehicle three times at three different dealerships under the same company as his comp challenging our comps that we sent in. I was injured in the accident. Yeah I had to fight with their appraiser for two weeks! our week old Acura RDX Technology SUV only a week old! Our totaled vehicle was worth $22,000 all day long and we borrowed 20k to purchase it. But, third party appraiser said he uses wholesale prices. Who can go to a dealership and buy an Acura for wholesale price? You couldnt touch one similar to ours for under $22,000 yet we had to except this lowball closer to 18k. By the way, the guy who hit me who was ticketed twice was driving a company car well insured and USAA will recover every dime they pay out on this . I was phone not at fault. So why do they lowball their own customers? Why did they make a person who suffered an auto injury have to fight with them for a fair settlement when they were not at fault? Why was our claims representative changed multiple times so we never had one person to follow the claim? Why were my repeated requests for an acceleration to management or supervisor ignored. Why did Garcia the manager never call me? Why did we suffer additional hardship of having to make additional payments on our our original Acura PLUS the financing of our replacement vehicle? Because the process USAA uses is not a process that helps. Theyre not at fault customer. Because nobody in claims process mo really cared. Youll be told that anyone who answers the phone will be able to help you because they can see your claim. That means talking to multiple different people some extremely rude and uncaring. When you get someone who is helpful, you know you wont get them a second time. This was the most frustrating experience I have ever had with any company in my entire life. I still feel additionally, injured by their process, along with the injury, so suffered from the auto accident. USAAusing a third-party out of state appraiser places you at the mercy of someone who has no interest in you. Once they send you an offer you have one week to give up the rental car and find another vehicle to buy. That first offer was just a little over $16,000, the second a little over $17,000. Blood sweat and tears to get a little over $18,000. Dont assume USAA has your interest at heart, they dont. Are they trying to make up the millions they were fined by govt for some money laundering issue? When people told me about this, I was shocked and searched on Google to find The government fined them big time not just once but twice. Not their auto insurance department, but still under USAA. Figure US is AA having to make up millions of dollars in fines. Well, theyre gonna get it back somewhere. From their own customer base? military people? 33 years without a major auto claim. The last person I talked to in claims bullpen said USAA didnt use to use third-party, and would actually see your car in person for appraisal, but now they use third-party. Especially if you live in Florida, you dont want USAA just because of military connection. You wont get a call from management you wont get an apology for the difficulty of the process and you wont get a fair value for your loss. Thats what I have come away with.

Same with me, They appraised my fully loaded vehicle with the base model of another type of vehicle. I've been calling and calling trying to talk to a human being.

The chat is automatic response. Customer service is a joke.

They took my totaled vehicle and raise the rate on my second beater vehicle. the monthly payments cost more than the car.

I’m in the middle of a very similar situation with my car. My car has been sitting at the the garage since July 28 and I’ve called every day since to get an update on repairs, but no response. I’m tired of being stuck in this limbo while they are still doing nothing.

I lost my ATM debit card last August. I immediately called USAA, where I had my checking account, to report it lost and to request a replacement card. The agent I spoke with said she couldn't help me because I wasn't able to provide some code or other, plus some telephone password -- neither of which I was even aware of having. I explained this to the agent, but unfazed she just abruptly hung up. Undeterred, I kept calling USAA several times a day over several weeks. No one hung up on me but then neither was anyone able to help me, once again because I could not provide some magic code and telephone password. I asked repeatedly to speak to a supervisor (several times I eve asked for the company president, whose name no one, incredibly, seemed to know),but I was never able to reach a more senior person who could help resolve this Kafkaesque situation. Finally, on my last and final call, the agent said, finally, that I could resolve the issue if I sent in a copy of my photo ID and a letter of explanation. I did this in early September or so (a full=page color photocopy of my driver's license), and after waiting 2 weeks for a reply, and didn't get one, I called again (several times) and tried to find out what black hole my letter and photo ID fell into. It was a total waste of time. No one, or so they claimed, could or would help me. Meanwhile, with my retirement check going into my account on direct deposit, I was running out of money. In early December, after borrowing money from family to pay my rent, buy groceries and pay for internet plus other monthly bills, a neighbor found my lost ATM debit card. I didn't wait for a minute. I literally raced over to the nearest ATM machine, withdrew all but a few dollars from my checking account, then ran over to Prime South, my local bank. I explained to the people at Prime South what had happened to me with USAA and they were incredulous. They promised I'd never again face such a customer service nightmare. If you live in Georgia I highly recommend Prime South Bank to you. If you are a USAA customer, I feel sorry for you because you're dealing with a company that basically doesn't give two *** about its customers, as my experience amply demonstrates.

These are the issues that USAA staff try to hide from senior management due to the fact that they have been sued for mishandling customer accounts, therefore, they can say that they had "No Knowledge " of the issue. USAA should have advise you to reset the sign on information there are other ways for USAA to "Verify" you to your account.

Just like most of us Poor Customer Service we have a right to be transferred to management due to the fact "We Own Our Accounts", Not USAA staff.

TIME FOR A CLASS ACTION LAW SUIT! Nothing is going to change unless WE the Members TAKE ACTION, this site does not

We have been members of USAA for over 30 years and for the last 10 - 15 years USAA has Dropped very close to the bottom in the banking and insurance business. Customer Service for the most part has major issues from trying to be lawyers, lying to it's members and even disconnecting the phone call. Lately if a member has an issue and wants to speak to a manager the customer service rep will refuse you telling your that you can't talk to them. The insurance dept. has tried to raise our rates twice in the same year claiming that it's a state thing. The Fraud dept. will cut off your use of credit and debit cards without notice and for "No Reason", when filing a dispute they will denied your dispute with the excuse that you did not provide them with the additional information they "So Called " requested. In most case they "Never" looked for the info in their files and now of course you are not allowed to speak to anyone in that dept. Also, it has taken over three weeks for me to get an issue resolved due to the fact that the rep will call you after hours and when you answer the phone call they go silent and then will disconnect the phone. Only to send you and email stating that "We tried to reach you by phone". There is No use in calling the extension that was provided in the email because your call will go to voice mail saying "I am away from my desk". It's time that USAA Member demand a Change in Leadership because the last two CEO's have "Destroyed" what was one of the Best options for Military members and their families. USAA has been suit for mishandling members funds, charging fees, not paying the full amount on claims and even "Discrimination". At present they have a 140 million dollar lawsuit to pay and it appears that they will get that money from members. USAA HAS A LOCK ON MILITARY MEMBERS AND THEY ARE TREATING US LIKE WE ARE DIRTY THEY HAVE FORGOTTEN OF WHY THEY WERE STARTED, AND I DON'T THINK THEY CARE.

I still had to make my car insurance payments, even though my car was in the shop for three months, after someone slammed into me (and they knew it was in the shop). Even though I have over 40 years driving experience, my monthly insurance payments are as much as my car payments. Also, when I inquired about lowering my payments, I was told that my deductible would go up to $1,000, and it did, but my monthly payments stayed the same. And now I was told I had to pay the deductible for hitting an engine that was laying in the middle of the freeway because of an accident that I came upon, that had just happened, even though I filed a police report.

USAA is always problematic. They sell any loans to the most iffy companies they can find. I'm always getting mysterious charges from companies and USAA will just keep giving them the money every time they ask even when you tell them to stop. Their app is a joke that always leads to a phone call because apps functions are just facade. I someones raiding your account your most likely going have to take it because you can't stop it since the dispute options are fake, the call in numbers are not 24 hours or on weekends and disputing by customer support is a nightmare. Ive had them for 21 years. I'm leaving them because they have fallen so far.

Since the last two CEO's USAA has taken a different direction from what it was founded. It changed from Military Officers to Anyone who wants to join and they are trying to be more commerical like.

Wrote to Two VP of Banking at USAA Both of them REFUSE to respond, but SINCE the FACT that USAA was wrong I don't expect an answer.

USAA's Fraud dept. does NOT support their members, two of my last three disputes have been overturned because USAA failed to communicate with me, yet they claimed they did. One issue was that USAA requested more info regarding if I returned a product. I responded to them that the company REFUSE to provide me with a return address. USAA claimed I never replied, USAA never looked in my files . The second was a moving company that overcharged me by $1000.00 plus they used my credit charge to make a purchase from doordash. Again USAA claim they requested more info well I never saw the request. I just don't have $1000.00 to give away but USAA feels that I do. Hence why they refuse to allow a manager to talk to me, the rep I spoke with was more concerned of me saying her name right than understanding my issue. In fact she was quite RUDE delaying my request to resolve the issue. The rep assigned to handle my concern has YET to speak with me he called late after hour and when I answered his call he did not respond he just disconnected the call. Next he sent an email stating that he tried to contact me by phone he left his extension in the email and when I called it within minutes of getting his email my call went to voice mail because he was away from his desk. I left a message and he refused to return my call.

Did you initially file a police report in both cases?

Police do not handle issue of this nature and if you are speaking about the use of the credit card they will tell you it's a civil matter. Police Department are not the same as they were in yesteryears. If they can not shot and kill someone they are Not interested.

It is both. It is criminal for them to misuse your card in both instances.

The police have to take your statement. The civil portion is you trying to recover your money from them.

Sadly, my cellphone was dying, and was only partially functional. I would get the basic sound that you hear when you answer or dial the phone, but the connection would not be made. I went to the local Spectrum Service Center this afternoon and got the phone...

Today at 12:35 I used a USAA cash machine to with draw $200 from my account, which ends with 3575, and agreed to pay a $3.00 service charge. My account seems to have been charged $4.00, as the balance went from $6851.84 to $6647.84, reflecting a service charge of $4.00. Please explain this error, and put the $1.00 back into my account.

Apparently, USAA has tried to contact me, but when I answer the phone, no one is there. I have tried to call them, but when the phone seems to be answered, no one is there.

Perhaps they can e-mail me at bodillinc@***.com.

The dollar is not that important to me, but the malfunction of their equipment bothers me. They have an ATM machine where I shop, but I will no longer use it.

I need to know how to complete a call to USAA

I found out the account# that PNC Bank had changed at VA. I changed Direct Deposit to USAA begining 1Oct2023 I need to speak to a soecialist. The VA confirmed PNC had changed their account number with VA to my old BBVA account number. PNC ACCOUNT #494748**** CONFIRMED BY VA AGENT Routing # 07192**** BBVA ACCOUNT # 713309**** Routing # 25607**** PNC . BANK DID THIS TO PREVENT ME FROM CHANGING DIRECT DEPOSIT WHEN I TOLD VA AGENT THE BBVA ACCOUNT # AGENT CHANGED DIRECT DEPOSIT FROM PNC TO USAA EFFECTIVE 1Oct2023 I could not stop Treasury from sending 1Sept direct deposit of $ 8 7 0. 8 6 to PNC BANK THINKING THAT SINCE VA AGENT DID CONFIRM WHAT SHE THOUGHT WAS MY OLD ACCOUNT WAS ACTUALLY MY PNC ACCOUNT. IS THIS ENOUGH TO ACCOMPLISH GETTING MY $ 1 5 6 0 + FROM PNC Tried to log on this morning and notified my account was locked can you have it un-blocked. Will not try to lig on from Honduras again.

USAA lost the payment for my claim . And I can't get a direct answer from anyone at USAA I have tried to get help through Customer Service , but all they do is direct my call back to my adjuster . I don't understand why it has been 10 days and still has not been resolved .
