I had an accident feb of 2017, they didn't have any repair facilities in the area. they told me to take it to any shop to get fixed.

I found one, however after buying all the parts and the shop working on the car for 4 months, they could not finish working on it. All it needed was to be painted I was informed. USAA had it towed to an affiliated body shop. this shop didn't like how the first work was done so they redid all the repairs and finished the work before Thanksgiving.

at this time, USAA informed me that I had a bill of $6000 for the repairs cause they paid for the first repairs and will not pay for the second and if I didn't pay the bill, they would take it out of my bank account. It is jan 2018 now, after being traumatized by the accident, now the insurance company wants to finish the job.
