I put in a claim when my roof got damaged from a huge hail storm we had USAA then verify my claim sent me a check that my mortgage company had to also sign well it's cost me over $200 to get this check sent to my more to my mortgage company signed back to me and that's what my own money plus the hunt the thousand dollar deductible I have been on the phone for 2 days trying to clear this up or at least get some of my money back and nobody can even send me the right place nobody that works for that company knows what they're doing take my advice go with a different Insurance Company

Sounds like your main problem was with your mortgage company. If you have a mortgage on a property their name has to go on the insurance draft in many cases.

If you had a mortgage company that was local, you probably could have just taken the draft to them in person to sign over. That is if, you had the repairs competed!
