Poor advice from a USAA Representative has me looking to pull my money out of their bank. I had my credit card declined 2x times today, once for an $880 tablet purchase from the Microsoft store and again several hours later at my local Walmart.
The 1st Rep led me to believe the problem was solved. The 2nd has me confident its going to happen again! I found her advice to go to another register (point of service) to be both ridiculous. If I followed her advice, I would scan everything Im buying, try my card which could be declined and would then have to gather all my items, put them back in the basket and go wait in another line at another register or self-serve scanner (which declined the card today).
Ridiculous. Thats the level of assistance USAA is at now.
User's recommendation: DON’T use USAA for your credit card needs.
Monetary Loss: $10.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
USAA Pros: Offer a lot in one place.
USAA Cons: Lack of constructive responsiveness.
