I called USAA car insurance and they wanted $1,000 more then what I am paying now for the same insurance. I'm a 40% disabled vet and a senior citizen. I will never call them again.

Obviously, you are doing the right thing to get quotes on insurance. Everyone is different, but USAA is outstanding for me. Too many lies posted here.

USAA - Visa card balance transfer

Please before anyone does a balance transfer to your USAA credit card please read the letter carefully and call customer service and have them explain their rules to you before you do it. The letter is misleading. I spoke with a advocacy specialist today. That’s all I will say. Just call before you do a balance transfer I don’t need to talk to anyone else at USAA this is just to warn the other credit card customers

USAA - Double billed

When i made my bill payment the automated bill payment said it could not process the payment and transfered me to a rep who without verifying that the payment did not go thru processed a payment, however the automated did go thru along with 2 failed payment attempts, it took maybe 30 seconds for them to place the charge and after 7 days still no return of excess payment, even if we had had no prior problems with the company this has still taken longer than it should have.

USAA is not that great. Shop around for other insurance policies and loans. We banked with USAA for over 10 years and It’s due to the convenience and of course falling for the taking care of Soldiers and family.
