As a real estate agent I will recommend to any client that they should get their home financing from ANY other bank in the country. They do not care about thier members, over charge for closing costs and very rarely close on time, if at all ! They claim to have the backs of military personnel when they have no actual affiliation to the military...other than their deceptive advertising ! In case you didn't know USAA actually stands for United Services Automobile Association...sound like an arm of tbe military or a for profit organisation looking to take advantage of young men and women serving our country ?? Do yourself a favor and shop these amateurs for a local mortgage broker or bank who will actually care, and give you a better deal !

USAA review in Denver, Colorado: Fraudulant company, thieves, and completely incompetent

Not to mention how the customer service is nonexistent. You have to talk to ten different people just to get told you have to call tomorrow because you have been on hold so long that the department is closed. You ask for a direct extension and call that extension the next day and you have to go through ten more people and be on hold for over an hour which is absolutely unacceptable. Someone hacked into our account, changed the contact information so that we were not contacted when this was all going on. This person made several deposits and directly transferred them out leaving us in hole over $6,000. Because we were in good standing with USAA, they preauthorized all of these deposits. USAA screwed us over and allowed this all to happen. They told us they they know it was not us and that they knew that is was fraud. But they are still saying that we are on the hook for over $6,000 that they allowed to happen! So, we now have to get a lawyer to sue USAA for the money they allowed to be stolen from us.

USAA review in Denver, Colorado: Very displeased with mortgage processing

I have been a USAA member for 47yrs and can't say enough great things about the company. So I thought I would use them for a mortgage. Because they value my loyalty the process should be a snap..not to mention that my credit and financial status are exemplary. Nothing could be farther from the truth! Nightmare is not strong enough... My processor lost almost every document we forwarded. Her general knowledge was lacking. Repeatedly, I had to remind her of our financial situation even after sending everything in writing. Rarely would she return phone calls. Her emails were more often then not grammatically incorrect. Most of my productive communication came when I dialed 0 and spoke with a more senior processor. If USAA can't do better then this, I suggest they get out of the business.

These stories sound exactly like what I am going through. 22 years and perfect.

This mortgage process has ended my relationship with usaa. I was treated like a criminal and every other email had different info in it. Thiis review said nightmare doesn't cover it?

Absolutely positive true. I work in a stressful job and I've never encountered this level of incompetence.

Okay, same story, always the State that is responsible, you all need to get with Your State Insurance Commissioner, file an complaint and don't stop until you get your question answer (WHY), this way they can no longer blame the STATE. Don't you love it, they are script to the TEE.

I have an Attorney working on my issue with USAA, homeowners increased over 50%. my attorney found several questionable rate issues.

My State is asking USAA to adjust my rate and they are up for a review to see how wide it spread within the state. THE ONLY SOLOUTION FOR USAA IS THE STATE INSURANCE COMMISSIONER

I believe that some companies tend to major in the minors and minor in the majors! If this company would just stop discriminating against those who are absolutely qualified to perform a job function and quit placing inadequate friends and lovers in position to lead there would be a definite change in the professionalism of how the mortgage department is ran.
