USAA in Newport Beach, California - Sale of Investments

I waited on the phone for 25 minutes and then the person I spoke with couldn't help me. USAA did a big disservice to their investors by letting you assume their investment department. I am now in the process of closing all my accounts with you. This is in the amount of $500,000. and also all of my USAA accounts.

Today I went to deposit cash at a local atm. I couldn’t so I called in. Was told to use a cashiers check to deposit. I did and now have a 7 day hold on a CASHIERS check. Now my security deposit will bounce and I am homeless. Thanks USAA you give great advice and should shove it up your ***

There is no "bend" in federal banking rules. The same rules must be followed with every mortgage applicant regardless of the length of time they have been a customer.

All banks are governed the same way and answer to the same regulations. Investment income is not guaranteed income.

Thus the reason it cannot be considered. Period.

The people you speak with are not USSA employees. They are employed by a company called Teletech, which is a call center USAA has a contract with.

Teletech will hire anyone that applies even if they are less than intelligent. USAA doesn't seem to care or want to fix the problems and the Teletech Call Centers keep hiring shady people and they don't train them. USAA Members will continue to pay the price. The turn over at Teletech call centers is over 80 percent and the working conditions are rough.

I hope that might give you a little clarity about who you're really talking to.

The caliber of people employed by a company makes the company fail or succeed. If USAA doesn't get out of Teletech they many end up failing too.

Details
USAA has grown to have some of the worst customer service ever. The have miscalculated my balances many times and have had to refund me back. I dont trust them to manage my accounts. Also it was clear they charged me an overdraft fee with money in my account and tried to deny it and when the agent saw it he was about to refund me but disconnected me and I called back to someone unaware who didnt want to refund me, scammm. What a way to treat veterans. No respect. I am going to close all my accounts. Only the insurance is worth keeping. I do nothing else with this bank anymore. Awful service, quality has dropped.
