Poor customer service on three calls today alone

Follow up with hail damage claim. First two persons who answered refused to put me through to an adjuster. Infuriating, especially since I was calling from a Govt facility. On third call, I got through to adjusters rather lengthy voice mail at 2:30 Central Time jury is still out on this since I am hoping to hear back before the end of the workday so we iFinder in the message..

What Happened to USAA?

Iv'e been a USAA member for 40+ years. However recently their website has been very spotty and unreliable.

Moreover their customer service has gone from good to awful. It seems they were very negatively impacted by the "Great Resignation" and are filling the gap by hiring inexperienced and poorly trained agents. Thanks to their latest web software updates, I can no longer even login to my account. Prior to this I had no issues for literally decades.

Now when I contact USAA customer support for help, they have no idea how to correct the problem. In the past USAA was a great insurer.

Now it seems my only option now is to find a new insurance company. Too bad.

Road side assistance did not show up

I made a roadside assistance appointment, waited for 45 minutes for the tow to arrive and then got a message that service had been received when it was not. I then called customer service and was unable to speak to anyone or have the matter resolved. I am now thinking of changing my insurance carrier.

Well after 4 attempts to cancel auto policy because I got insurance elsewhere they said sorry to see you go and sent me a 14.00 refund check.

They sent the bank a check in one week but, they need to work with the customer. I lost a lot of money and my car which I would have repaired. They also need to do something about OB towing.

I am done being extorted for wrong information provided by lexis nexus. I was told my premium would go down, and it went up, not to mention lexis nexus is not accurate with their information. I paid in full for the next 6 months with another insurance company, so i am not renewing auto insurance. They wanted me to pay, 2,300 for 6 months insurance on a 13-year-old car. I'm 52 with a clean driving record and one minor accident in May 2020. Prior to that accident, I was only paying 800 every 6 months? I put a picture from progressive they did the same thing.

Preferred solution: My information corrected and a fair price for insurance. My renters and personal property policies are paid for the year and I will pull those also.

There is a Class Action sue against USAA for not paying claims right now the amount is 140 million that USAA had to pay. This I believe is one of the reason that USAA is increasing our premiums. To recoup much of the money they loss from law suits and what they gave Trump.

Continuous increase in premium and am being billed for the month I cancelled my policy

When I purchased usaa auto insurance my premium was $169 monthly. It has gone up every few months and it was up to almost $300 in February 2023.

My last two statements were $566 a month. I called to cancel on the day my insurance premium was due. I also had my bank decline any future charges from USAA. I called today to find out what a letter I received meant which was showing that I had an outstanding balance.

I was informed that because I did Not pay tihe 10/25 bill, I still owed USAA MONEY!!! The rep was not helpful and rude!! When I decided to change insurances, every company I checked out was about half what USAA was charging!!

So much for helping vets!!! I will let everyone i know not to use this company!

Missed one payment by mistake so they cancelled my policy. Called as soon as I realized what had happened. I was willing to pay any late fees, I just wanted my old policy back. They wouldnt work with me at all. Havent missed one payment in 6 years and then they just drop me after one mistake. The new policy they gave me now cost me $1000 more per year.

USAA always has a problem

USAA is always problematic. They sell any loans to the most iffy companies they can find.

I'm always getting mysterious charges from companies and USAA will just keep giving them the money every time they ask even when you tell them to stop. Their app is a joke that always leads to a phone call because apps functions are just facade. I someones raiding your account your most likely going have to take it because you can't stop it since the dispute options are fake, the call in numbers are not 24 hours or on weekends and disputing by customer support is a nightmare.

Ive had them for 21 years. I'm leaving them because they have fallen so far.

Don't pay their bills

They owe for repairs to one of their customer's vehicle. Almost six weeks have gone by, and we can't get a hold of anyone. Always put on hold when you call and then it forces you to leave a voicemail that nobody returns. The adjuster doesn't reply to email that we have sent. Worst insurance to deal with and there are some bad ones out there.

I thought I would be saving some money because my dad was in the Army all his life. I have a good driving record and a ton of experience, but the monthly payments were the same as they were at the other company. When I spoke with them to reduce my payments, they said the deductible would go up, and it did, it doubled from $500 to $1000, but my monthly payments stayed the same. WTH? I also still had to pay my premiums when my car was in the shop for almost three months, after being hit from behind, and they knew it was in the shop.
