Bank transferred my money to someone I did not want it transferred to..

A three year old, one time transfer was given the alias' name of Bill Pay because it was being transferred to someone in the Bill Pay system. I later added another Transfer account to my USAA account named Bill Account giving me two (2) accounts with the same 'Bill Pay' name. I made the mistake of selecting the wrong account with the same alias, the only difference being the account number, which does not immediately easily identify the account. If I had added, as I will in the future, the bank name I would have recognized the difference in the alias accounts setups. USAA has not returned my many request for a conversation to make the suggestion about adding the bank's name in the alias name..

I'm so angry with USAA

I have been with them 27 years. The phone hold times are horrific. You verify on the phone and you get an agent that doesn't know anything and says" I'm sending you an email for verification"...my response.. "My email is not up right now"... Let me send you to someone who can authenticate you: AFTER a 1/2 hold time at 7:00am in the morning? I hang up. They are hard to contact anyone to talk about a complaint. THEY dictate when they will call YOU BAD customer service. I did a scheduled bill pay for the 15th of the month month ago, still in scheduled transactions...called yesterday "It went out on the 8th"...vendor did not receive...website...does not show completed...still in schedule transaction? My reputation is on the line here. I do not feel safe with my money in USAA!!!!!! Am pulling out and putting in a reputable bank. USAA is NOT the same bank I signed up with long long ago. My parents were in 50 years and they are rolling in their graves. My sister is pulling out of USAA too. In speaking with agents and CEO's office THEY DON'T CARE IF I PULL MY MONEY OUT WHICH IS ALOT!!! Their website is so screwed up it's not funny and again the hold times are outrageous.

Nothing has happened. USAA does not care. website it hard to navigate now was great before they changed it to suit them not customer..agents were blind sided.They canceded secure scan check to at home deposit...not trying to force people on an insure wireless check deposit...awful.Today 10-15-21 called 6 times cannot get a hold of customer service 40 minute wait time.Web bill pay not due when supposed to becalled 6 times today, 1-agent sounded like he just got out of bed...but asked for bill pay, phone confirmed transferred me 2x to credit card.complaints do not make a difference, not thing changes things get worse

Ticked Off!

USAA use to be the best bank! I called them about 3 withdraws I didn't make. Waste of my time, so I opened a new checking acct. 5 yes I said 5 times did I get the 'SAME' 3 pages to sign. Just happen again. After the last 2 times I called &;;;;;;;;;;;;; a very nice gentleman confirmed they got the 3 page & all was well with new acct. Yet I just got them again. Will be calling in am, if not straightened up I will move to a local bank. Enough is enough!

Direct deposit problem

Until recently my father's insurance was paid by direct deposit. They changed their system and screwed it up. I tried to re-instate it as I had one other time because I have power of attorney, but they came up with a bogus reason that I couldn't. I will probably seek insurance for him elsewhere. He has been a customer for 50 years.

Roadside assistance sucks@

I contacted USAA because my transmission was not shifting. I ordered a tow online, scheduled for the next day. I kept getting the run around, but finally, they said they'd get it in the afternoon and to leave it outside. I pushed it out, straining because I'm a 100% percent disabled Vet. They never got it, now it's the weekend and it's raining on my 1969 MG! I cannot get it undercover. I'm so mad, the car will have to sit until my mechanic can take it on Monday. Just arrange your own tow and get reimbursed.

Unable to contact USAA Banking

Unable to contact USAA Banking to get info on a new checking account. NO EMAIL at all only a 1-80*-531-**** number for everything.I quit after holding for 35 minutes. Web site has a contact page but ALL topics take you back in a loop to where you started. We have been insurance customers for years but will switch if I cannot get basic info for their bankng products BEFORE I open an account. Our insurance agent was useless in helping.

Bank transferred my money to someone else

I have ATTEMPED to call at least 5 times to report this mistake... The money is still NOT back in my account.. I am not worried about it since I have PROFF that the money transferred to what was my account. I even spoke to LIVE person requesting that I 'please speak to another live person'.. She promptly put back in another queue with a 40 minute wait time. after in queue for about 20 minutes I got dis-connected again... My next step is to send USAA a telegram. I never thought in 1966 when I joined the communication would so non-communicative..

I had problems ending my Membership with USAA this past summer. . They said I couldn't end my Membership. I was told otherwise by Credit Union. Legally they could only keep my profile. I had to file complaints with my Attorney General and the CFPB to end my Membership. They didn't like that, they called and wanted to discuss my complaints. I told them I had nothing to say. They continue to call even after I went back to the CFPB with another complaint asking again not to call. They don'tunderstand, they don't bad reviews, complaints or when they don't get their way. They think their right. They BULLY people!

Over 1 hour customer service wait time

Been a member for over 35 years. USAA has gone from the best to worst in the banking and insurance industry! Members are leaving by the 100s because of poor service and USAA continues to cut service to keep up. It's like bailing out a sinking ship without plugging the leak Website had been down at least 4 days. Tried to call for status and the customer service wait time is over 1 hour.

Bad service

Hello, Since I have went through my insurance to get my car repaired I received no help. First, The rental was cancelled after I schedule it with Usaa and enterprise. Second, I had to do all the due diligence. I requested the estimate be sent to the shop. The lady sent to me by email and told me to print it out! My rental car was due zero follow up from Usaa. The claims adjuster room three days to submit. Now I hearing it will be not done until late Monday, Oct 4. I requested my rental be extended until Oct 5th. I have emailed and called. The car is due back this Friday. Still no help 770837****
