Details
After company said they would cover my damages to car,I received papers to sign etc and send back..I sent fedex, they lost one form, I sent another fedex, they lost one form, I sent picture etc online like they said, They came back and stated they can not accept it this way Evan though they said send it. I sent 3rd fedex with papers, title forms, etc. they finally said we have all forms. It took 3 MONTHS for them to pay me. I would never get this insurance. EVER....

USAA in Saint Petersburg, Florida - Charged 2 auto payment to my bank account

The automatic system said my payment did not go through, it transfered me to human who put in a payment only to find later the automated payment wenthrough also no i am in overdrawn and they now tell me it will take 4-7 days to clearup the mess after haveing been told the second payment had been backed off but had not.

USAA in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Mortgage department

Details
Their Mortgage department is so difficult to deal with. I have called and emailed different people no more than 10 times and can’t get a call or email back. The other issue I have is that the appraiser has too much power. I got a bad appraisal with no way to rectify the problem. I am a huge USAA fan in the insurance side, not to happy with their mortgage though.

USAA in Newport Beach, California - Sale of Investments

I waited on the phone for 25 minutes and then the person I spoke with couldn't help me. USAA did a big disservice to their investors by letting you assume their investment department. I am now in the process of closing all my accounts with you. This is in the amount of $500,000. and also all of my USAA accounts.

USAA - Sale of Investments

USAA has sold all their mutual funds to Victory Capital which is the worst experience I've ever encountered. After a 25 minutes wait, they couldn't help me with my recurring disbursement. I'm now pulling all my investments from them which amounts to $500,000. If everyone does this it may show them they have no customer relations and really will hit them financially which is the bottom line. I've been a member of USAA for over 50 years and they have gotten worse and worse each year. TIME TO MOVE ON.

YUP! Went through their *** Mortgage program too.

That was last year, and it was the worst process I've ever seen and this was not my first house! USAA seems to hire bottom-of-the-barrel quality workers - they also care nothing for Vets or Military - most of them seem to not give two craps about the customer. USAA has also divided their branches into third party companies as well as the support for them... the result is deniability.

I've dealt with the no-name mortgage lazy mo-rons too - it's like talking to a wall. But I've also recently had issues with some hikes in prices on services, and stupid me did the auto loan thing to start off with and they wouldn't even consider refinancing after most of it was paid off (did through another bank just super easy) - their polcy is not to because interest makes money *shrugs*. At this time I just refinanced and finally not a USAA mortgae customer anymore, but now they wont let me even see the transactions on my accounts because they want me to sign a w9 - which I'm not signing because I don't have any interest baring accounts - so I don't trust them to fill it out and give it to them. They are literally blocking my access completely and they wont even give me my last 30 days of transactions on my open checking account.

It's insane they way I am treated by all customer support tiers and how they simply say "no" to every reasonable request. I'm changing bank accounts to NAVY Federal Credit Union. I called them and they are super nice to talk to and helped me right away with everything from opening my account to any special access forms to answering literally every thing I asked. It's amazing that I was blown away that a bank could be civil, curtious, and helpful, after being with USAA for so long.

BTW, I have been a member for 17 years and I can't wait until I have nothing under USAA. I wouldn't stay with them if they offered me a million dollars - I can't trust that they'd be telling the truth. Once the proud company serving military and vets... now just another bank of america or Chase.

Less about customers - more about money, and that's it. They really don't care about anyone.

Yes! Same Here!

In the process of removing the many services I had under them.

Their prices aren't so good anymore and they are so bad these days with support that it's not worth the all-in-one one-stop-shop idea. IT's actually not worth it when the mistakes are frequent and their support is defensive and accusatory toward customers.

I've been a USAA member for almost 60 years now and have watched the company deteriorate daily. I don't like the abusive language of the original post, but his viewpoint is accurate. This company still has many good workers, but as they get sick and tired of this jerk, their service will soon suffer, too.

Had that issue too. They wouldn't even let me pay more a month to have REAL coverage.

Used to be it just covered the cost.

now it covers a maximum of $20 a day? What's this insurance for anyway?
