They paid the body shop more than the car is worth! Unreturned phone calls. Talk to a new person every time we call, no one knows whats happening. Multiple requests to speak with a manager have been ignored.

Total disregard to Customer requests!

Details
My sons car was struck in the rear, the repairs now exceed $30K and the company will not discuss whether this car is a total loss. We call and speak to someone new each time and they provide incorrect information and misinformation each time we call. We've asked to speak to a manager and no one will call us to discuss even after multiple requests! The car has been in repairs more time than my son has been able to drive it. The service provided is completely opposite of the proposed JD Powers surveys! Terrible service

Poor Customer Protection

I ordered a product and the wrong product was delivered. The company would not refund or replace after I sent the wrong product back. I filed a claim and USAA denied. They allowed a company to steal almost 400 from me. I never received the correct product. Do not get a card from USAA because you will have no protection as a customer. USAA used to be a good company but it is not anymore. They take advantage of service members and there families.

Denied my credit card dispute for lack of details

When you write your dispute if it is too lengthy they return it to you and ask that you shorten it . So i complied .10 days later i received a letter of denial because i did not supply enough details . This new non veteran CEO Wayne Peacock has turned USAA into a scammer . They refused to accept the data on the dispute despite the MANY COMPLAINTS AND LAWSUITS against Terminix. Just google scam complaints against Terminix.They hacked my credit card for $489 . I have them a check for $725 and never showed them my credit card. Despite the complaints against Terminix that were emailed to wayne@***.com my word was brushed aside . I never received a reply from Peacock. They are now charging me interest on the fraudulent $489.There are many other complaint boards against USAA .A

Too many repeat phone calls

Purchased home 22/10/2019 via NFCU @ 2.375 int rate. USAA cannot beat this current rate. Do not need mail or phone inquiries, take me off your phone and mailing list. Ive never done business with usaa and have no reason to compare these 2 entities. respectfully Wayne Corscadden

Circular logic denial

Was supposed to be called yesterday afternoon at an alternate landline by a fraud supervisor, per Richard to explain why I cannot be transferred to the security dept extension who are able to ask me personal questions for ID verification. 6/14/2020 00:36 after 20 min hold. Called and security dept Trent was unable/unwilling to ask alternate questions for ID as I have in the past, even with COVID19 in progress.

New auto and homeowner policy holder

This company is a joke. If you can't open 2 web browser at the same time you can't even look at your policy info. So you need a phone, and 2 web browsers to do anything. Also the agent that sold me the policy(s). (Home, and Auto) gave me a direct contact # that did not work after I paid for the policy.

Banking SUCKS - they don't honor stop payments

While I've had good experiences with the insurance part of USAA, the banking has been really bad. Their customer service is truly horrific at times. Today is another time when I called perfectly calm needing help and here I am 1.5H into calls and on my third rep trying to get an unauthorized charge reversed and my anger is through the roof! It was a company I'd placed a stop payment against after they kept putting payments through even though they were included in my Chapter 13 bankruptcy. They have misunderstood and, at times, lied to me throughout these calls. They truly don't care about their banking customers and do very little to help even when THEY caused part of the problem by allowing a debit charge even though a stop payment order was already in place.

User's recommendation: Just don't. Try to find a credit union or a local bank.

It is a shame USAA has gone as low as it has. I am a veteran and had my son get a USAA credit card and taught him to pay off his balance. He tried to pay it off with his phone app but the circle kept spinning like it wasnt going through, so he tried again and both payments went through causing him to be overdrawn. He let USAA know the next day and they did nothing breaking the EFT act of 1978. I am filing a complaint with the OCC's Customer Assistance Group at 1-800-613-6743. OCC regulates them. It is a shame our veterans have to deal with this terrible service.
