USAA redefines FRAUD

My USAA debit card was lost/stolen Monday. I called the same day to report almost $1000 in charges I did not make. They were kind enough to cancel my card.... then transfer me to the Fraud Department. It was then that Elliott informed me that in order for it to be fraud it has to be charges: 1. Made out of my current geological region. 2. Be made at companies I have never done business with before. There was a third requirement but at that point I was too pissed to hear him. The charges were made at Foot Locker, Hibbitt and KFC, who hasnt done business with these businesses???? I have contacted the local police and fortunately the officer was extremely helpful and after reviewing video footage he discovered the thief. So, thanks USAA.... FOR NOTHING.

I've been a USAA member for almost 60 years now and have watched the company deteriorate daily. I don't like the abusive language of the original post, but his viewpoint is accurate. This company still has many good workers, but as they get sick and tired of this jerk, their service will soon suffer, too.
